Always a pleasure staying at the Obester in Debrecen. Friendly staff, nice rooms (nothing fancy). Very nice breakfast and great value for money, It's a short walk from the town's main square and has free parking. I have stayed here 4 times over the past 6 years.

Håndbold tur.

3 Overnatning i forbindelse med EM i håndbold. Der blev ikke gjort rent på værelset mens vi var der. Morgenmaden var simpelthen så ringe. Hotellet trænger i den grad til en istandsættelse. Underligt at de kan have 4 stjerner.

Really Nice Hotel!

Brilliant hotel with very nice staff. Went there for the Euro 2022 Handball. Restaurant even extended opening times for us!

Приезжали на выходные с супругой. Очень удобное расположение отеля. Остановка трамвая напротив входа ( можно доехать до акватикума ). Отель в гусарской стилистике . Очень интересная задумка. Магазин penny market и aldi в 5 мин ходьбы . Не понравились только завтраки ( очень просто и скудно ).

Stay away from this hotel, if possible!

Even for Eastern European standards this hotel is a disappointment. We booked the biggest room available. During check in, we were told that the kitchen were still open for at least 30 minutes. Arriving at the room it wasnt clean and ready. Back to the reception we were told that no futher rooms in this catagory were available. We were then given a standard room, fair enough, this can happen. Sadly the standard room was not that clean either, especially the bathroom was dirty. Heading down to the restaurent we were told that the restaurent were closed and that the chef had left the building. The reason being that he had worked a lot due to a group of people visiting the restaurent that evening. The hotel is located at a main street, lots of traffic, outside the city center and in an area you dont want to work around in. Conclusion. Find a better hotel, this is nowhere close to be a 4 star hotel.

市の中心からは少し離れていますが、トラムの駅に近く、大きな森公園へも行きやすいので便利です。朝食は1日だけ付けましたが、雰囲気の良いレストランで、内容も充実しているので、おすすめです。

The property was beautiful. The breakfast was just ok. The room had the heat to 26 degrees C, and the four to the patio was letting in -5 C air. It was comfortable, but sometimes it got too hot in the room or too cold. I recommend the hotel. The service and location more than made up for the room temperature.

Bra hotell i utkanten av centrum, finns några restauranger i närheten och mindre än tio minuters promenad torget i centrum. Spårvagnshållplats utanför dörren. Jag fick rum med fönster den stora gatan utanför, det hade varit för bullrigt med öppet fönster men med stängt fönster ok.

Összességében kellemes. Kényelmes sétával elérhető a belváros. Az épület belülről történelmi hangulatú. A recepció, bejárat körüli földszinti rész gyönyörű, az épület belső tere hangulatos. A reggeliző helyiség néhol már kopottas, javítandó. A reggeli svédasztalos, a választék visszafogott (talán csak kifogtuk). Néhány éve itt jártunk, akkor imádtuk a hotelt. Most tűzfalra néző sötét szobánk volt, gyenge világítás, kényelmetlen párna, nehezen beállítható légkondi, éjszaka alapzaj (a szomszéd szoba légkondija?), nagyon gyenge wifi a szobában. A fürdőszoba gyönyörű, kényelmes. A parkolási lehetőség nagyon jó. Kellemes udvari terasszal rendelkezik a hotel. A recepciósok többsége kedves, segítőkész. Mindenképpen megér egy látogatást.

3 miserable nights at Hotel Óbester

We booked 4 rooms for 5 nights, air condition was not working in nither of them during hot and humid weather- we were told twice that technician will fix the next day - that never happened. In one of the rooms the TV set did not work, following the report, the TV was taken and never brought back. we had no choice but to check out and move to another hotel after 3 miserable nights of not sleeping due to high temp and humidity. ---- and TV issue

Loved the artwork! Great hotel. I had a balcony overlooking the terrace, it was beautiful! Could have had better AC but that is not a big deal. Would stay again!
