"Found the perfect spot for Civic Center shows! I took BART in and it was a super easy walk to the hotel. The staff was amazing and my room was clean and cozy. It definitely has that 'vintage' charm and some typical city noise, but that’s part of the vibe. The highlight was definitely the rain shower head in the bathroom! They also have AC in the rooms, which is a rare but nice find for the city. Only downside was the breakfast—it was a bit too basic and lacked variety (only one type of pastry). Still, for the location and service, I’d definitely stay again!"

"I thought this was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. I got a double bed room instead of a single king which wasn’t the issue but this hotel room is appalling and hasn’t been updated since the 70s. It felt more like a cheap one room apartment. The bed was a nightmare. Thin like paper sheets, dirty comforters, freezing, seedy guests, dusty floors. I was absolutely terrified during my entire stay. I will avoid this hotel anytime I’m in San Francisco. An absolute nightmare. It’s more like a seedy motel."

"The pictures were false. This is a motel - the room was very smelly and very old. They put us at the back of the hotel with crackheads which was scary. The key card stopped working multiple times. The pool was unusable and dirty. The staff said they can not clean it. Overall, dissatisfied and not tooo happy."

"Room was clean, but common areas were consistently messy. The common areas are a fun amenity for those looking to work a remote 9-5 from there, but if you plan on using them I’d prepare to clean up your own area (BYO cleaning wipes). Rooms are small but efficient enough. Gym is better than expected, and definitely a highlight."
