One of the best Motel 6 properties I’ve ever been to. Very clean and quiet. Kitchen has a fridge, microwave, toaster and stove top. There are no dishes or cutlery provided. A very good value for Dallas. The area around the motel is pretty sketchy with lots of homeless people and drug addicts, but if you stay on property you’ll be fine.

It was clean, in good shape, and there seem to not be any problem people. They allowed pets for free, bed was comfortable, shower was hot and clean. I just wise the had better parking and maybe a bigger area for dogs to use the restroom. I did not like that you could not come into the lobby, you had to talk to them, anytime of day or night, through the night window.

This was a good transit point for a larger and more complex stay in the area. The room was basic, clean, and comfortable. It came with a full kitchen so extended stays would have been manageable. The staff was friendly and informative and when my plans changed unexpectedly they helped me meet my new needs. I would gladly stay here again.

It was good except the overflow of garbage downstairs, I don’t think they have someone who can maintain that. I think they should put a big dumpster outside in the lot close to rooms, that way their is no need to worry about overflowing trash throughout the day, it looks tacky and stinks.

The staff are kind and cooperative including the cleaning lady. However, many things in yhe room needs repair or replace. Full of cockroachs. Everything is far away including the bus station.

Overall, my stay here was poor then average. I stayed here for almost 2 months due to my work travel. At first, the room I was put in was infested with roaches. I told management of this issue a couple of times. Pest control did come by once and sprayed the room, but there was no difference. Finally after being upset about the infestation and seeing that nothing could be done, I requested to move rooms and the front desk had no issue with that. They even compensated me a free night due to the inconvenience. My second room was decent, minus the air conditioning unit going out for a couple of hours (which maintenance came and fixed within a few hours of it breaking). Overall, the front desk staff were very nice and shoutout to the HOUSEKEEPING service! They always provided me with service whenever I needed it and were prompt. If you absolutely need to stay here, it is okay in my opinion given the circumstance. The area is questionable. I did like that the motel is sort of away from the main busy street, but there are a few characters out there so be safe if you ever stay here! Never had an issue with security, my car was safe and it was not very noisy.

Just make sure you are choosing right property when making reservations in the area. There are many hotels in this congested entertainment/restaurant area which include Studio 6 Dallas, Motel 6 Dallas, & Studio 6 Dallas Northwest all within a half mile of each other. Very confusing and I went to two incorrect hotels trying to find the property. The hotel actually looks like condos or apartments which adds to the confusion. The positive: I was impressed with how well the property was lit at night. From what I could tell in the office, they have several security cameras located throughout the property. The extra lighting is a huge plus and I rarely find in the hotels I stay at. The bathroom seemed clean with plenty of towels and soap. The kitchenette with stove, microwave, mid-size refrigerator, cabinet space, and shelving, was a nice amenity. It would have came handy if I were staying more than one night. Although, I didn't sleep very well, the room was quiet. I may have been just lucky with the room location. The negative: The room was small, didn't smell very well, and the air conditioning, while running, sounded like an electric can opener that wouldn't stop opening cans. The sheets were stained, or dirty, right on top which was easily viewable after making the bed. If you can't clean them, please replace them. The wireless internet signal was so weak it was unusable, which was very disappointing. I may have been just unlucky with the room location.
