Paulo did a fabulous job looking after us with respect to showing us the features of the resort, assisting with luggage and making sure our car was charged and available when we needed it. We loved our 5-day stay in this stylish hotel. Our room was modern and sophisticated with dark wood and beige ascents that helped create a relaxing environment. The bathroom with its modern amenities was spacious and had a wonderful rain shower. We also had a beautiful view of the mountains from the room. The room provided the perfect respite after a day of visiting museums and sightseeing. Another reason to stay here is their fabulous restaurant. João Simões and Inês did a wonderful job making sure our dining experiences were memorable. This is one hotel that is a must to stay at. You will not be disappointed"

"Rooms are basic but clean. Sagres on draught at the bar is a bonus. All the hotel staff are friendly and courteous. "

"Stunning vista in the middle of the Portuguese countryside, featuring an infinity pool, with lots of space. It is in a very remote area with no public services, facilities or buildings for miles. Classy decor and staff and great value for money. The staff are just wonderful, so delightfully friendly and warm"

"House was ok but feel like was a bit out of dateWashing machine - drop fuse a lotSpa jacuzzi - couldn’t use as was deflated Toilet upstairs- couldn’t use as not water Had to chase host how to access the house ( would be nice if she had send that in advance ) There was some good things about it a lot don’t get me wrong "

" Our 3-night stay was overall a good one, with great views. However, we did run into an issue with the air conditioning not working in one of the bedrooms from the moment we arrived. This made the room too hot to use. Luckily, there was another room with a working air conditioner where we were all able to sleep. The owner was responsive and tried to address the issue.The kitchen, while a bit dated, was well-equipped, and the room sizes were decent. One suggestion for the property would be to add a proper barbecue, as that would be a great addition for a house of this size."

"A peaceful and beautiful spot. Pleasant evenings under the stars. Great bird watching. 30 minute drive from some beautiful beaches. A well equipped villa.Jessica was friendly and attentive.My only complaint was that the air conditioning was not working in two of the bedrooms when we arrived - the engineer could not attend for four days and I had to wait at the villa to let him in.The other problem was ants - the only safe place to leave any food was in the fridge and they were getting in to the children’s beds."
