The room, facilities and breakfast were good. However, we had an incident with the receptionist (Omar - night receptionist) that completely ruined our stay. When we arrived Omar was checking us in, he asked for our documents and when he was inputting my mums details and apparently the system would not accept her document details. He couldn’t say why and would not offer a solution. Luckily, my cousin knew the area manager for all southern hotels, who we called and she was able to talk to him. All that time he was rude, condescending and basically said that this was our fault and that we had to find a solution. If we did not have the contact of his superior we would not be able to stay and he told us he would not give us a refund, because we could use the room, just my mum wouldn’t be able to stay. As if I would stay there without my mum. Anyway, room, everything was good but would NOT stay again or recommend because of this staff member.
