"The cabin is small but well appointed. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. The view is fantastic and can be seen from the bed and kitchen table. We thought it was an excellent location for doing a lot of beach exploring and getting to the ferry to Spanish Wells. Felt very safe and was very quiet. No washer or dryer. Lots of towels, great beach chairs, a cooler, and ice packs for cooler. Near grocery stores and the nice Front porch restaurant( Only place we would drive to at night - mostly had lunch out and simple dinner in). Very comfortable bed. easy parking. "

"Stellar experience at La Bougainvillea! My twin sister and I were celebrating a BIG birthday and our retirements so we really wanted the trip to be very special and La Boug was just perfect! From our earliest communications, we felt that we were dealing with a highly professional operation which reflected warm hospitality, personable service, professionalism, and a desire to make our experience of Eleuthera as memorable as possible. When we arrived, we were greeted with a cool delicious rum and citrus drink and the relaxed vibe which continued to be the environment at La Boug for the rest of our week. We had chosen the See Sea cottage for the two of us so we could each have our room, bathroom and balcony and it was 100% worth it! The cottage was immaculately clean, well equipped with a "foodie-grade" efficient kitchen, a large living room, two large bedrooms (one with a sea view and one with a garden view), a small but refreshing pool, plenty of beach towels, a grill, picnic table, etc. We treasured the privacy and "homey-ness" of having our own place while also being able to quickly access the resort with its crystal-clear Infinity pool, restaurant, and .... oh.... the BEACH! Words cannot describe the soft pink sand, turquoise waters, and quiet beauty of La Boug's private beach: of all the beaches we visited, it remained the BEST! "

"It was so joyful being with another couple and our dogs so close to the beach and services. The power went out and the host immediately showed up to make sure we had matches for candles, he said ‘it’ll likely comeback on shortly’. Lit candles were almost Immediately extinguished when the power returned. Crystal clear plunge pool. 5 gallons of water, amazing upper deck off master….much much more in a cozy space by the ocean. "Wonderful home. The breeze through over the pool was wonderful. The no-see-ums were irritating but the breezeway kept them mostly away. We had 12 adults, and the bedrooms are set up nicely as individual master suites. The lagoon has very good snorkeling. Clouds of minnows, some coral fish, barracuda, turtle and 2 small sharks were seen. Snorkel under the overhangs at low tide and at high tide check out the mangroves. The kayaks and paddle boards were greatly appreciated. Erin the gold crested night heron visited us every day. The house is on google maps so easy to find. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators and 2 washer dryers. Had a great time."
