Holbrook Motel

"I’ve stayed at this place before and had a great experience. This time I found the cleanliness of the room wasn’t as good. There had been someone with muddy boots in there previously and had left marks on the carpet which had not been cleaned properly. The sheets were clean but the bed had been made roughly with not all areas of the sheets tucked in. Disappointing considering how good my previous stay had been."

"What a lovely surprise! As responsible pet owners travelling with our pooch, we have grown to reluctantly accept second-rate rooms and substantial extra nightly cost to have him with us at "pet friendly" motels. Not so here! Modern well maintained rooms, a genuine welcome for us and Rusty, and a beautifully restful environment away from the Hume Fwy trucks! What's more, we enjoyed a hearty and tasty meal at the pub next door. We are definitely making this our new Melb/Sydney road trip overnight default from now on. "

"Even though the weather was not great, the cabin was wonderful and well-fitted out. The grounds were really great for family fun and activities..especially the petting zoo. We are looking forward to coming again in warmer weather 😀"

"The house was perfect for our needs and in a great location. It was tidy and had a large variety of kitchen appliances. The only thing I could find fault in was that there was no dryer. Not an issue in summer but winter it makes things a little more difficult. Thankfully there is a laundromat a few minutes down the road in lavington shopping centreLovely house overall and the owners were incredibly friendly.Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again."

"Cupboards too high for anyone under 180cms. The shower taps were dangerous as the locking handle was missing for one of the taps and handle prone to falling off when shower in use. Flies in room."

"For a budget motel the amenities were all in order (and must admit that in that price range I haven't come across too many lately that offer room service dinners - Indian food). Holbrook is a nice little town - very friendly."
