"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay im this tastefully furnished and very comfortable home ! This was our second stay in this beautiful house and most likely not our last . The view is incredible - looking out on the water and islands is like therapy. We were also in awe of the night sky full of stars ! We love the location also because of the excellent restaurants and bakeries close by ! I do need to mention the amazing and very well equipped kitchen ! Also having kayaks and beach chairs makes the stay so fun and easy ! I would recommend this home to all my friends ! Thank you "

"The house was as described and very nice. The location was quiet, and we loved the view of the night sky. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Questions got answered promptly We got lobster delivered to us!! Owner left some literature about sights to see and things to do in the area, which was very helpful. The light in the dining area is poor, as we could not get the overhead light to work. We tried every light switch we could find. Made it a little hard to do activities around the table after dark. But we managed. Also just watch the downstairs bathroom. Owner warned us floor was uneven, and it takes a bit of getting used to, but we managed with no issue. Overall, this was just a delightful place to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our week there. Would rent again. "

"This is a rambling, welcoming old building that is perfect for a family stay. Check-in is smooth, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc, wi fi was good. I must say it is not what I would call an easy walk from the ferry, so older people, little kids, and people with heavier luggage should be aware of this. Otherwise the house is really convenient to the stores and restaurants of Vinalhaven and have a great view of the water. The dining area is a real plus! There is also a downstairs toilet that doesn't show up on the description. This is our second time renting it, so need I say more?"
