The view from this property is outstanding but the attention to detail is definitely lacking. Overall we found the properly incredibly musty, dusty and there were definite examples of mould and general disrepair. We weren’t sure that the bedding had been washed since the last stay, a solution there would be to have bedding washed and folded on the bed ready for the guests to put on. Beyond that, there are some touches that would make a more comfortable stay. Including basics like butter, eggs, milk in the fridge, adequate hand soap and body wash (shampoo and conditioner for longer stays would be a good addition), clearing out bizarre leftover pantry items before each new guest party arrives would make sense and bring the property into line with what is generally expected. There was also no book of house rules, check in check out protocol and/or wifi password. Again, the location is the standout but it would be nice to bring this property up to standard so guests enjoy being in the house!
