  • Introducing "East Point Holiday Home" a freshly renovated home, previously known as "Gunderman" but has been given a fresh new re-branding & under new ownership.

    This property is one that offers almost everything you could ask for in a holiday home, all perfectly situated in the heart of the Village.

    No expense spared giving this a mini makeover for all guests to enjoy.

    Upstairs offers 4 bedrooms, ensuite bathroom to main bedroom, master bathroom includes a bath, living and dining room with a smart TV - all decked out with brand new high quality furnishings, also a massive bonus of ducted reverse cycle air conditioning.

    Downstairs offers a perfect set up for a parents or in-laws retreat, with its own private entrance, it offers a lounge area with smart TV, spacious bedroom with additional wet bar, private shower & toilet - all you need to enjoy a separate area.

    You can embrace the outdoor entertaining deck that features Ocean Views and a space all can enjoy with an automated shade, how good, sitting here & have a wine or beer with friends & family, also a fully enclosed yard perfect to watch the kids fun around & enjoy themselves.

    All of this located within a less then 500 M walk to the beach! When you're done enjoying a swim, you can rinse off in the outdoor shower & lock the boards into the garage,

old man surf trip

Awesome property and Elders were excellent for checking in. The only thing I could comment on in a negative way is there is some issue with the hot water. Location can't get much better and the space for individual adults was outstanding. Walking to everything and to the point with surfboard.

Superb Family Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a fantastic stay with extended family at East Point at Crescent Head. The home is very close to town with only a short walk to cafes, golf, the beach and creek. The air conditioned home had a beaut deck and comfortably accommodated eight of us with room to spare. The garage space with additional fridge was a real bonus. Kitchen had everything needed to cook in house as well as the BBQ made evening meals out on the deck a delight.

Family Weekend Away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. Everything we needed. Location 5 star. We will be back next year. My only suggestion would be a gate at the top of both stairs ( internal and external) because we had a toddler with us (but not everyone has a toddler with them). I booked directly through Elders and they were professional and helpful.

Great big house

Fabulous position and big enough to sleep 12 of us. Clean. and it had enough chairs and table, plates etc for 12. Which was great. The couple that got down stairs but one child on the floor on a camping mattress and the other on the lounge down stairs and they had the queen bed. They said it was very noisy and they could hear everything and people walking above they're heads. So maybe kids down there that are sound sleepers or do not go to bed early. We loved the house. Fabulous. A small flat back garden. Maybe a new peg basket is needed and there where a lot of large ants as a Couple of the kids got bitten. But not a big deal. We would rent it again.

Having the garage is great for storing surfboards and the bikes to use were a amazing bonus. Really enjoyed our stay here, would absolutely stay again.

2023 stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The review and the online description needs to be updated as the property is definately not newley renovated. We were pleased to arrive this year and find the property had been cleaned properly unlike last year where we it was bad. The front door was an issue which we forgot to bring to the agents attention. The lock either needs to be repaired or replaced and its surprising the previous people and the cleaners wouldnt have reported it. The right garage door was also a problem with trying to lock internally. The rest of the house was good, although the couch is ready for a clean/depil or replacement. Could definately do with more seating in the lounge area. Outside deck we covered with outdoor furniture and good to see the new cushions.House is in a good location but is seeing signs of needing repairs in different areas.

The house itself has been upgraded in most respects. however the advertised large group style house is then let down by small bbq, small cooking appliances etc.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've already sent an email to Elders regarding cleanliness and maintenance of the property. We were disappointed to arrive to find the property not in a very clean state. Kitchen Cupboards dirty, sinks/drains black with mould, floors very dusty, especially under furniture, oven in need of repair, water leak in bathroom. We enjoyed the stay, layout and location really good and it was perfect for out family of 11 but it would have been improved if we didnt have to vacuum the floors when we arrived. Internet was not available even though the password was left on the fridge. It would have been good to have a clothes dryer for this time of the year when its hard to get washing dry.

Reviewer Comments: Was a little disappointed with the property as the owners now don't offer WI-Fi for the TV or the basic linen set, bath mats and tea towels. At the premium this house now demands we might start looking for another property in the same vicinity. We actually left the house cleaner than we found it, again a premium fee for cleaning.
