"Room had paper thin walls, could hear conversation very clearly without even trying. Canal wasn’t as pleasant as listed. Found ants inside the dresser. Smelled strong of mold/mildew. "

"I stayed here last year and was looking forward to staying here again. After a 6 hour drive I was hoping to jump in the pool where I spend a lot of my time. They were closed for maintenance. They needed to shock the pool. I asked when I left today how long they have known about this and how long it has been closed. Funny it closed the day I arrived and was opening up again today, the day I left! I was very upset. I would not have stayed here knowing this. Their facilities on the back dock have deteriorated, some docks are on their sides and ladders falling down. Still a pretty place and rooms are huge, as is your screened porch. Cleanliness had also deteriorated unfortunately but there was a sign saying they were hiring maids and maintenance people."

"the room were well made but not clean it was dusty in the room and he drawers to the dresser were broken . the towels are very small not at all adult size pleasing. the bathrooms only have one glass door and by the time your done showering your bathroom floor is flooded as well. also keep in mind when you get there they ask. " are you aware of the extra resort fee?" "are you aware of the parking payment every night ?" and I am just like well no but I guess I know now!! for a night stay is not bad but I wouldn't rent here for a whole weekend or week on vacation with my family."

"Connie communicated day of areival via text may tumes to provide direction, and unit was ready. Our arrival was in the evening, so she left lights on and keys in the table. The place was beautiful and exactly as described. We loved being on the canal, saw lots of wildlife evey morning as we had breakfast wating the iguanas and manatees. We went ti the local store for groceries before arriving at the rental, only to find others had left a few staples behind. Thankfully there were coffee filters! Connie was very attentive to our questions and needs. We had a great time and highly recommend this quaint, quite gem and plan to stay again next time we visit. If you stay, definitely check out Crane Point!!!"

"The air conditioning was awful!! LOUD. the vent was next to the bed so every time it cut in it woke us up. Also there was something in the vent that was rattling. Worst sleep ever."

"Our stay was amazing, our cottage was cute, clean and the bed was so comfortable! We enjoyed complimentary coffee every morning from the Tiki Hut. We enjoyed food from the food truck while we listened to The Tiki Seekers play live music. Location was super close and convenient to Publix, where we got the best Key Lime pie and steamed shrimp. We brought it back to the cottage kitchen and enjoyed a feast. Parking was ample and the staff was friendly and kept the place clean. Definitely will be back next year!"
