"The apartment was in very poor condition, with damaged blinds, ripped wallpaper, and marks and scratches throughout. The outdoor area was also in a terrible state. There was constant noise from people upstairs shouting until 4 a.m., making it very disruptive. This accommodation is not suitable for a family with three children and is far from the luxury experience advertised—especially considering the high cost."
"Lovely property, staff warm and accommodating and high quality room. Things to note - a small lift which can be full at busy times and breakfast was underwhelming in comparison to what was advertised."
"Hotel is fairly central (less than 10mins walk to the harbour) but there the remaining City Gate is at the end of Broad Street which makes for a nice quiet street for the hotel to be on (even with a bar opposite). Room was clean with plenty of tea bags and instant coffee (and Biscoffs!). Beds were comfy. All the staff I dealt with (which wasn't many) were friendly and helpful"
"The staff were really helpful and breakfast was good.
The hotel overall is tired and old fashioned. I stayed in 3 different rooms (another story) and all had different issues with them.
There certainly weren't any tablecloths on the breakfast tables like the picture at the start of this survey."
