Vacation in paradise typical country house

  • Ireland: vacation in paradise .......
    where I have a cottage for self catering for rent. It is in the Wild West of the green island in County Galway, just above the hole mask, which has an underground connection to 5km distant Loch Corrib, one of the best angling in Ireland.
    The house is surrounded by a green meadow, in a quiet location and has a fantastic view over the lake. The next towns Clonbur and Corr na Mona are 6 km away. The closest supermarket is the Post office at 800m distance.
    Who can not do anything with these offerings, which need only trust to turn to me .... my free 'work therapy' in the house and garden is sure to get him well.
    Incidentally, herbs and salads from my organic garden may be picked vain.
    The house offers 4-6 people. It has a downstairs living room with wood stove, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Above with cozy holzverkeideten roof pitches a double bedroom and another bedroom with bunk bed and extra futon. Central heating does not exist, however, for a well-functioning wood stove, halogen heater and radiators .... It is not a 3-star hotel, but a very cozy, rustic Irish Cottage, for the tourists, who finally want to know what simple country life means.

Perfect!

We were greeted by our host, Rosi, when we arrived. She was very welcoming and understanding to the fact that we were late. Her little cottage was all that we hoped it would be. Simple, rustic, and everything you would think an Irish cottage should be. The location was great. Waking up to the view of the mountains was amazing. Rosi, was great and made sure we had everything we needed. There is a beautiful garden to explore if you have time. Hoping to go back again. Thank you Rosi for the wonderful experience.

We loved the beautiful area where Rosi‘s cottage is. She has a beautiful garden and many birds were singing. Our host was very friendly and helpful when we asked her questions about the area. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a rural, country setting. The mountains and loughs in the area are very picturesque.

Beautiful location, wonderful host

The location in Joyce Country with nearby Connemara made for a wonderful location. Remote, quiet, with wonderful lakes and mountains nearby. The garden was beautiful. The host helped us find special places to visit and was caring.

Vacation in paradise indeed!

This property and its very friendly and helpful owner more than matched the description and photographs of the property and surrounding area. The house itself is cute and quaint and we loved it. The garden is spectacularly beautiful and just how I like gardens to be - well-designed and full of interest, with lots of hidey holes and varied places to sit and enjoy the plants and spaces themselves but also the adjacent scenery. Your only problem will be tearing yourself away to enjoy all that this wonderful area has to offer - we visited three beaches (Glassilaun, Dog's Bay and Old Head) as well as spending much time at the beautiful Lough Corrib (top tip, there is an excellent swimming spot just outside Cornamona, only a few minutes away where we spent much time). We also visited Cong, Roundstone and Westport. Of course, it helped that our week coincided with a heatwave. Other thoughts, the drive down from Louisburgh to Leenane was a personal highlight, the very essence of Connemara. All in all, excellent in all respects and thanks again to Rosi for the opportunity to enjoy.

Wir waren nicht das erste Mal und sicher auch nicht das letzte Mal :-)Es hat uns von Anfang an erwischt.Das Cottage ist super. Rosi total Klasse und Gwenni rundet das alles ab.Für uns der perfekte Erholungsurlaub in einer leider heute so künstlich gehypten Welt.Es müsste überal so sein.

Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen, schon im Vorfeld wurden wir liebevoll per Mail begrüßt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich. Das Haus ist urgemütlich - abends mit Kamin. Die Küchenausstattung ist ausgesprochen gut, es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man so brauchen könnte, sogar scharfe Messer!Und erst der Garten, da fehlen die Worte - ein Meer von Blumen. Und der abendliche Kräutertee aus frischer Pfefferminze schmeckte uns, ebenso das Obst aufs dem Garten.Rosi Busch, du bist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin!

Vielen Dank an Rosie (du bist ein tolle sympathische Frau) immer Hilfsbereit und freundlich. Du passt genau zu diesem Haus (wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in deinem "Stöckli") wir verbrachten diese Ferien sehr relaxt und konnten uns Bestens erholen (ohne Luxus ist es eigentlich viel schöner und man braucht nicht mehr in diesem hübschen, interessanten Häuschen)... nochmals vielen Dank Rosie... wir werden uns noch lange an diese Ferien erinnern, wir hatten ein wunderbare Zeit Martin und Sonja (Schweiz)

Paradiesisch

Wir sind in einem kleinen Paradies gelandet. Das Haus, im positiven Sinn ein kleine "Hexenhaus", ganz nach unserem Geschmack, der Garten traumhaft schön, nur das Wetter hätte ein wenig besser mitspielen dürfen, dafür kann Rosi aber nichts. Dafür konnten wir den Cheminéeofen an den Abenden ausgiebig geniessen. Rosi haben wir als eine engagierte, grosszügige Vermieterin kennengelernt und durch sie viel Wissenswertes über Irland, die Gegend dort und das Leben in Irland erfahren. Danke Rosi für alles

Mit dem Blick aus dem Fenster schon im Grünen

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Wochen der Cottage von Rosi. Der Kontakt zu ihr war vor der Anreise schon gut. Wir fanden die Unterkunft auf Anhieb. Auch waren wir gleich begeistert von der Ausstattung. Herrlich rustikal und gemütlich. Der so oft erwähnte Garten ist in der Tat großartig, jeden Tag durchliefen wir ihn mal. Aber auch die vielen Möglichkeiten hier zu sitzen sind toll. Jeden Tag wanderten wir und freuten uns auch wieder auf die Rückkehr in die Gemütlichkeit. Auch die Gespräche mit Rosi waren immer schön, freute man sich auch drauf. Was auch nicht unwichtig ist: das Bett lag super, man schlief herrlich. Wer also eine gemütliche Unterkunft sucht in schöner ruhiger Lage mit einer umwerfend netten und lieben Vermieterin, der sollte buchen. Wir haben es nicht eine Sekunge bereut.
