Good location, easy walk into the town centre. Nice amenities, fridge, comfy bed and air con etc. only downsides are noise from apartments above and that the bathroom is very small with no door so water goes everywhere.

Mixed feelings

The location for this property is very convenient, near the old town & next to major bus stops. It also has interesting amenities such as a mini-kitchen and a lounge. There are a few drawbacks: 1- you need a code & key to open the apartment, but it is not given to you readily. Despite having filled the questionnaire ahead of my arrival in Corfu, I had not received the details & had to call from the airport taxi to get the codes. It was very stressful arriving late at night in a city I didn’t know with no idea of how I could get to my room. It was eventually solved but just giving the codes with the reservation would be less stressful. 2- the apartment is on the second floor of a building with no elevator & not suitable for disabled. front door is always open, with a dirty vestibule & staircase (cigarette butts, trash) blown in by the wind or left by people. 3- the room is ok, but walls are stained. A paint job would do it good. The windows give on small back alleys. The bed was very comfortable. The drapes aren’t covering the window properly & the building in the front of the window has a movement activated light that blinks all night long. The apartment overall was quiet. 4- the bathroom has a few issues. The soap dispensers in the shower aren’t working well. The shower has no door so the floor gets wet when you shower. There is a pervasive sewer smell in the apartment that seems to be coming from water reflux in the bathroom.

A/c was effective. Kitchen cutlery ok. The condition of the bathroom is poor with broken shower door . The boiler can fail to heat the water on some occasions. The apartment is missing cabinets, wardrobes and shelves.

Average stay

Location of the apartment was great however it was extremely difficult to find. The location on Google maps did not match the hotels.com location, nor their actual location. Needed a private message from the host with an external link to find the location. Taxi dropped us off to the wrong location so we had to walk and then carry our bags up all the stairs to finally make it to the room. We did not receive communication early enough from the hotel and had to wait outside until we paid the city tax to be let inside our rooms. Cleanliness was below average, mould growing in the bathrooms and mosquitoes inside the room.

Stay away - even if there's no other place to stay. Bait and Switch - the location shown on the maps is not the actual location. They do this to attract bookings and charge more. Cearly a SCAM from their end since they told me it's not their fault, it's the first time they hear about this, and that it's probably a problem with my GPS or with Expedia - after our stay I noticed another review that mentioned the same thing - so clearly this was not the first time they hear about it. Also the place is disgustingly dirty. Just look at the photos. ( i can only upload 8 photos, but trust me there was way more issues than what you see in these photos) Hair on the pillow Dead spider on another pillow Beard heair in the sink, Mold growing in the shower Dust everywhere Doesn't look like any of the surface has even been wiped down. If someone really wanted to this place could be spotless with some white vinegar and 2-3 hours of labor, but they clearly dont care about cleanliness. Also - the one chair was ready to fall apart, screws were completely loose on the leg. We didn't stay our full stay, it was too disgusting to handle. We got up and left the island after one night! Oh oh oh and let's not forgot the excellent customer service -after I confornted them on the call about the location, they blocked me on viber so that I wouldn't contact them!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Piazza San Rocco. L'appartement est petit mais fonctionnel, bien situé à proximité de l'aéroport, d'un supermarché et du centre de Corfou. La literie est confortable. Petit bémol la machine à café fonctionnait difficilement (à détartrer) et le sol stratifié s'enfonce légèrement au centre de la pièce de vie.
