"The view was amazing. The room was clean however it had an unpleasant smell. I would stay here again for the view alone, but I would bring air freshners. The bed was comfortable, the walls where thin, which was fine if you and your neighbors are respectful."

"We enjoyed our stay due to it being clean, accommodating our late evening arrival, the view from our room, a pet-friendly room and easy access to walking our dog outside. The breakfast was good for us, but not what we initially expected. You choose items the night before that are cold breakfast items like hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, etc and the staff has it all waiting in the lobby in a bag. "King Suite, very large, seemed like two hotel rooms combined. Minimal furniture, no pictures on wall, felt very cold not cozy. Has kitchen. Nice enough but I’d prob stay somewhere else next time."

"You check in on line so there is no staff interaction. the room was clean, neat and cozy. The shower is small. You can hear someone walking around above because the floor creaks and the walls and floors are old and not insulated very well. Parking is available and the harbor shops and restaurants are close and within walking distance."

"Had to ask repeatedly for fresh sheets and bath towels and they finally cleaned the room after 3 days of requesting it. Even hung the sign up for service but it got ignored. We were the only room that had a car there for 5 days and they couldn’t even get our room cleaned even when we called for service day after day. Just excuses on why they didn’t check it. Always had an excuse for everything. No a/c like advertised. No view of the bay unless you walk outside and go to the side of the building...

"I saw this place was rated 8.4 so figured it would be good. The whole area smells like fish including in the room. The walls are paper thin and could literally hear the guy next door farting. The bed was small and so was the tv. Overall just not great. "

"We opted to spend a little more to get a room with a "kitchenette". It had a working stove and a full fridge and coffee maker. It did not have any pots or pans to use on the stove. It was nice that it had a kitchen table and a separate bedroom. It was right next to the maintenance/laundry room. An open bin of trash was right outside the door and our place had a lot of flies. "We were greeted by our contact person, Gail, who is friendly and personable. And a terrific artist as you will see when you are on the property. This is a very cute, fun and artsy apartment. We used the bedroom at the front of the house and found it roomy and the bed is very comfortable. The water pressure is outstanding and the hot water arrives almost instantly. The kitchen is fully stocked. Just bring your own food. We will definitely book a room here when we are near Winchester Bay again."
