This property is a historical hotel, and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast, pleasant staff. Restaurant about 50 meters away, and a pastry shop across the street.

Delightful stay

This was a delightful place to stop. It is a quiet little village with some interesting history. The hotel itself is a very impressive building. As with many buildings of this vintage there is no lift. However I would not let this be a factor in making a decision whether to stay or not unless you have a mobility issue.

This was our second stay and once again, we were not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of town, directly next to the old spa-hall and the park. The premises are huge, so that you will always find a parking space (which is included in the price). The staff is incomparably friendly and helpful, leaving no question unanswered. Apart from that, the hotel is pet-friendly which is most important for us, since we are travelling with our dog. The hotel itself exudes an ancient charm, with a slightly creaking staircase and floors, while the rooms were beautifully but carefully renovated. The bathrooms look a bit dated, but once again fit perfectly when it comes to the general impression. The rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean and you will not miss any comfort. We will definitely stay there again next time on our way to the south of France.

Mooie vergane glorie. Parkeren rommelig en geen voorzieningen voor mindervaliden. Veel trapjes, op- en afstapjes. Geen lift. Veel vloerbedekking en zware gordijnen, stofnesten dus. Bureau zonder stoel en twee fraai ogende zitstoelen waar je helaas uitglijdt. Het gebouw is zeker mooi en ik neem het personeel niks kwalijk, maar voor ons ( slecht ter been en met rollator) gewoon niet geschikt.

Dit hotel speciaal geboekt om de auto te kunnen opladen bij het hotel. Er was 1 lader met mogelijkheid om 2 auto's te laden. Echter was er maar 1 pasje wat het hotel kon geven om te laden. Toen we kwamen stond er 1 auto te laden. Toen die klaar was brachten die niet het pasje terug waardoor wij niet konden laden. Erg vervelend! De volgende ochtend vroeger vertrokken om ergens anders te laden. Heel jammer dit.Hotel kon ook niet duidelijk aangeven waarom er maar 1 pasje was.

De kamer was schoon en de badkamer klein maar functioneel. Het gebouw is oud maar goed onderhouden en ligt in het centrum van Contrexeville. Er was een behoorlijk ontbijt met voor Franse begrippen een ruime keuze in warme en koude producten. Ook de koffie (diverse mogelijkheden) en de thee (diverse smaken) waren goed van smaak.
