"Paul and Tina gave us a warm welcome. We got in late from delayed travel as we tour across Scotland. We were greeted with a fire and a dram. The lodge is immaculate and the service cannot be beat. What a treat! We will be back."

"Car park is odd not to mention not clearly signposted as as for hotel guests (the hotel sign directs you down a different street with no obvious parking) they’ve crammed a bunch of chalets in to the car park so there’s little room and it just looks busy"

"Although the accommodation was clean and comfortable, (the loo serving 3 rooms was tiny) the owner has rules which he outlines immediately eg shoes off, cars parked in a certain way, breakfast between 8 and 815. He also has particular views about society and politics which he is very ready to share, most of which we disagreed with. We found him to be too forthright and it generated some tensions. If you like politics, military history and conspiracy theories, this place is for you."

"Family room was very clean. The bunk bed were a bit squeeky and not too confortable but for one or two nights, it's fine. Plenty of parking and very quiet. Beautiful view on Ben Nevis. For the price, it is worth it."

"There were not enough fans on property to accommodate all of the rooms, which is unfortunate and extremely uncomfortable on a warm evening. The windows were open to try and let cool air in which brought bugs into the room. Otherwise, the rooms were generally clean and most of the staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok. If you’re a coffee lover, go elsewhere. The town is quite charming as well."

"The hotel’s location is excellent, and the food deserves a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, the rooms were disappointing and did not justify the price paid. The wooden floors creaked constantly throughout the day and night, both in my room and from neighbouring rooms, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The biggest issue, however, was the toilet. It did not flush properly, and waste would repeatedly reappear in the toilet bowl every 15–30 minutes. I reported the problem twice, but...

"The property was nice and clean. It is not a stand alone property. It's in a building with other commercial space and there are 2 separate entries, depending on your unit #. Otherwise, no issues."
