"The staff were 11/10. Really friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was nice. The room was comfortable but mainly it was perfect for our stay for playing golf. Other than that it is a very dated, mediocre old fashioned hotel."

"The period furnishings and decor in the lounges were very impressive. Some areas of the property are looking a little tired, but the Cally Palace have an abundance of excellent staff. They were all so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them - definitely 5* staff. We had a lovely large bedroom, with great views at the rear. We had four evening meals in the dining room which were really good and the Cullen skink was excellent. Cally Palace was a great base for our four day break in a really lovely part of the country. Thank you to everyone at the Cally Palace."

Lovely B&B - our bedroom had a proper-sized TV, the central lounge was bright and tastefully furnished, the breakfast room had great bay windows and quality furniture. Doonhamer hospitality. Adequate on-site parking."
