ROCKS APT is located in Colonno, a small village known for its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere, characterised by narrow cobbled streets and stone houses, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a corner of peace.

ROCKS APT is a characteristic flat in the historic centre of Colonno, recently renovated. It is on two floors and consists of: living room, kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower and a small balcony.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONROCKS APT is a recently renovated flat in a characteristic house in the centre of Colonno that will welcome you with its special style. Arranged on two floors. On the ground floor there is a cosy living room with a characteristic stone wall. From here there is access to the fully equipped eat-in kitchen with table and chairs, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. Finally, a small laundry area with washing machine and dryer. On the first floor, up characteristic stone stairs we reach the sleeping area, with two double bedrooms with TV and a bathroom with shower. Finally, a small balcony.

The flat, with Wi-Fi available throughout the house, can accommodate up to 4 people. It does not have air conditioning but fans are available.

The flat can only be reached on foot and has no private parking space. Public parking spaces are located approximately 500 metres away.ACCESSIBILITY AND PARKINGROCKS APT is located in the most historic and characteristic part of the centre of Colonno, which is why it can only be reached on foot. Public car parks are 500 metres away: from the nearest car park you have to walk up a steep road with steps.

We would like to point out that this is not a suitable place for those with mobility problems, and for your convenience, we recommend light luggage.

We recommend the use of a car to reach the village of Colonno and the parking area.COLONNO & SURROUNDINGS

Colonno is a charming little village on the western shore of Lake Como, known for its natural beauty and authentic charm. This picturesque village is an ideal place for those seeking tranquillity and breathtaking views. The view of the lake, with its crystal-clear waters and reflecting mountains, is one of the main attractions. Colonno is also an excellent starting point for excursions into the surrounding green hills. Trails from the village offer beautiful panoramic views of the lake and mountains, such as the famous Greenway to Griante. Thanks to its location, it is a peaceful corner away from the tourist hustle and bustle. It is perfect for those who wish to immerse themselves in the nature and serenity of Lake Como.

Please note that there are no bars or restaurants in Colonno and the nearest supermarket is called Sigma, in the village of Lenno, 3.5 km from the flat.GETTING AROUNDPlease note that the taxi service on Lake Como is not always reliable or readily available. We therefore advise against relying on it once you have reached your destination. We suggest considering alternative options such as public transport (buses and boats), renting a car or using pre-booked private drivers.

A bus stop is 200 metres from the flat, and a boat stop is 500 metres away. Please note that there are only 2 ferries per day passing through Colonno: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. In the nearby village of Argegno you will instead find a boat every hour.

In the cold period heating is an additional cost to be paid separately: € 8,00 / Day.

عناصر نالت الإعجاب: النظافة

Schönes Ferienhaus mitten in der Altstadt

Das Haus liegt mitten im alten Kern von Colonno und man läuft schon gut 100m mit seinem Gepäck. Dafür ist es traumhaft ruhig und bis auf die Kirchenglocken hört man auch nachts nichts. Die Bushaltestelle ist in 3 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und die einzige sinnvolle Lösung. Die Fahrten mit dem Auto auf der viel befahrenen Uferstraße sind auch aufgrund der Parksituation entlang des Sees nicht zu empfehlen. Das Auto muss man relativ weit entfernt vom Haus auf einer Hangstraße abstellen, die Woche kostet 25€. Für unsere Kinder im Teenageralter war im Ort nichts geboten. Dafür bieten aber die vielen attraktiven Nachbarorte genug Sehenswürdigkeiten. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, nicht im Kern des Tourismusgeschehens untergebracht zu sein. Gerne kommen wir wieder!
