The Shangri-La Hotel was lovely. The staff were so kind and attentive and always helpful. The food was delicious and I loved the passion fruit sorbet sold off the adorable cart in the lobby.

This was as good as expected from a high-end luxurious 5 star giant. The staff were amazing, breakfast and dinner buffet being exceptional and even the lobby cafe was really good. Perfect ocean views, convenient location with direct access to the really nice mall and really nice rooms. The bathrooms are proper luxury ones. The gym was good, with nice views as well and the spa was top notch. I rate this shangri-la at 100%. The staff do help to make everything easier and smoother.

We stayed at Shangri-La Hotel Colombo recently, and overall it wast a truly wonderful experience - though our beginning wasn't quite perfect. On arrival we did face a few problems and we were concerned this would affect our stay. But I have to say the team responded and resolved every thing quickly . Every staff member was polite and attentive, nothing was ever too much trouble, we felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for every day. What can I say... the breakfast was superb, with wonderful variety fresh local international dishes and excellent service in the restaurant. All our dining experience was consistently high quality. The hotel has easy access to 1 Gall Face Shopping mall, convenient for sights and easy travel around Colombo. I would highly recommend Shangri-la Hotel without hesitation and thank you to the team for making our trip special, We will definitely be returning.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed high tea in the lobby, pool, sauna and health & wellness facilities. I only wish the hotel was a bit more mindful about guest experience when booking main restaurant for corporate events. Better communication and more dining options would be helpful.

Super amazing staff assisted in all need. Everyone from the desk, cleaners and kitchen crew made our stay such an experience that that alone was worth the stay on top of all that the amenities and views they really go above and beyond! When you arrive, this greeting area and lounge is an indication of the service and experience you are about to have. From the dinning experiences, the gym facility and lounge experiences are truly amazing. Add onto that personal touches with gustatory experiences at the Sapphyr lounge with Maneesha, Aakib, Navodya, Shalika, Harsha. They showed warmth and attention to detail making our experience memorable.
