Convenient location. Room was clean. Staff were helpful. Hotel needs an update. Shower went cold within a couple of minutes. Road noise was prominent and loose external fixtures need to be repaired. Balconies were a good addition but external parts of the building need cleaning

I had a fantastic stay at ME Colombo. From the very first moment I was warmly welcomed. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Sanjula and Suraj who work at the bar/restaurant — they made my stay perfect. The food at the restaurant was very good, with something for every taste, ranging from Sri Lankan dishes to international cuisine. The atmosphere at the hotel was great, and the rooftop pool offered a beautiful view of the city. For this price, this is the most u can Get. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next trip to Colombo. This hotel gets a 10/10 from me and is highly recommended.

The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. The room was so clean with a powerful shower and comfortable bed and perfect for our overnight stay. Spent the morning at the rooftop pool before midday checkout. Would recommend!

It’s not a big property, it has some height but not too much wide. But it’s well managed and have good view too. Food quality is better we tried their evening snack platter and that was awesome. Room space is quite decent and have all the necessary stuff. Duty manager and staff is very polite and helpful. Location was it’s good as well, one mall and street food market is near.

Had 2 separate reservations and the initial one was more expensive. That initial room was dirty (sewer flies in the tub, strong mildew from the shower, stains on the couch, dust/webbing hanging from the lights, weak fan etc.) Second reservation I politely asked that the room be cleaned and they did absolutely that. Still had bugs but they gave me spray. Confusion with restaurant staff--the just do not fill in the blanks nor say they don't understand. They just do things and keep wondering why you're not happy. The hotel manager, however, worked ALL of this out. Got on everyone to make sure I was taken care of, midway. Staff are very friendly and sincere! The hotel is wonderful and it was amazing by the last 24hrs. Just a shame I have to be in this weird spot of being a polite foreigner and firmly getting what I paid for. Good food. Excellent breakfast! Guests are often foreigner or well-done locals; and, we want clean rooms as soon as you give the key. End of story.

More like a 2 star property, not clean, stains on the linen and mould on the blind and shower walls but there’s a sign saying you get charged 100USD if you stain towels. There was about 15 red ants we found in the room just before check out by the balcony, also the balcony door lock was broken. Location is nice but you can definitely get better quality for cheaper elsewhere.

Okay but not great

Hard to recommend due to condition of the property, traffic noise and comfort levels. Door to room was hard to operate and left open by staff after making the room up. Condition of gym equipment rendered it inoperable. Pool was temporarily closed for maintenance without warning. Wifi was slow at best.

Tutto bene. Gentili sia alla reception che al ristorante. Ottima colazione ed anche la cena con menù a scelta. Unico neo l’insonorizzazione della stanza. Si sentiva il traffico della strada e il venerdì sera anche la preghiera del Muzhaidin fino a tarda notte.
La piscina all’ultimo piano. Senza sdraio però. La vista fino alla Lotus Tower.

Pramash and the rest of the staff went ABOVE and beyond not only to make our stay comfortable but to ensure our travels further on from Colombo was smooth. He called the train station and checked which train we needed to be on for when, called local hospitals about whether we could book a PCR back in Colombo in a months time. Excellent and kind people and an all round lovely hotel!

Clean and good service with delicious breakfast

Clean and comfortable room with all the amenities you could need (towels, toiletries etc). Pool lovely but breakfast was superb. Hotel a little out of the way from what seemed to be the main part of Colombo but was very close to the better bit of beach

Great hotel at a great price

We had a great time at this hotel. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, the beds were comfy, the staff were helpful. There are shops all around which you can either walk or catch a tuk tuk, all in all it was a great spot.

DO NOT RECOMMEND-Worst hotel experience in Colombo

I had the worst stay in Colombo with ME Colombo. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Money is their main priority and customer service is always second. The lady in the reception had an attitude as well. Bad odor was coming from the bathroom and Had to keep the door closed at all times. The rooms are not spacious as well. I recommend THE OCEAN COLOMBO for a better stay in Colombo. The rooms are so spacious and They have the best view of the ocean as well.
