Interactive check in is convenient. But you have to rely on your cellphone in order to go in and out, which isn't always reliable when using roaming. There is a plastic room card, which unfortunately didn't work when I tried it. Another guest confirmed it didn't work when she tried it either. Apart from that a very good hotel experience.

All new and nice, but key didn't work

New, very nice and modern hotel, located in a quiet residential area. Parking available. All keys are via a web-app, that worked flawlessly for the front doors, but not for my room. The hotel being without a reception, I had to call and it took me a while to get through to anyone able to help. I eventually got an old traditional key and all worked from there. A good breakfast is available at a very nice little café in the street outside the complex where the hotel is located at the top.

Easy and seamless check in. Quiet neighborhood not too far from shopping and restaurants. Kiosk in hotel offering cold drinks which was very convenient. Rooftop terraces and an indoor lounge area which were great for unwinding or drinking a beer at the end of the day. Laundry and shared kitchen were very nice and a life lifesaver for longer term travel. The room was clean and made for a great stop for a few days, safe, secure, and a good location a little out from the city center.

Stayed here for 2 nights for Fibo, and as much as the room and location were fantastic, I had a harder time than expected. Firstly, you log in to an app or webpage to unlock the doors. As someone who doesn't speak German, I got stuck outside for a good 20 minutes not knowing how to get in, or which door unlock to press. I must admit, I prefer a hotel with a reception and member of staff to speak to about any issues. This is a very staff-less hotel, which is fine when it works, but when it doesn't can be frustrating. Secondly, I paid for breakfast on both of my two days at TOR1 next door. I went down, to be turned away by a man who spoke no English saying 'Nein'. Granted, I should have used Google translate to speak with him clearly, but at the same time... Why is it so hard and complicated to find and eat the breakfast I paid for? The room is superb, it was gorgeous. Clean, tidy and 10/10. The room went almost pitch black at night which was great, and I slept fantastic. Just a let down regarding breakfast and access. If they made these two things clearer, and simpler especially for overseas visitors like myself, I'd have enjoyed my stay a little more. Anyway, superb hotel, really enjoyed my stay, just feel like this is important to potential customers to know prior to arrival. Would absolutely recommend!

The lack of staff made it strange to enter and exit hotel. I watched many struggle with the codes on their phones. Ventilation in the rooms was non-existent so temperature and humidity was impossible to adjust.

The bare essentials

We were staying near friends in the same compound so it was very convenient. Everything is automated and quite self-explanatory. We had a corner room so had cross ventilation, other wise there was no air conditioning. The hotel is sustainable therefore no amenities of any kind are offered but there is a kiosk on the small street outside

A day in Köln

I requested a king size bed but instead I got two twin size bed next to each other. It just makes for uncomfortable sleep. Shower floated due to clog on the drainage tube. I had to remove it myself in order to get showered. With all of that being said, the apt is nice & modern.

This is not a hotel. There is no front desk. No Bell service. No concierge. No room service. No staff at all. No extra towels. No extra toilet paper. No shampoo. No lotion. No hotel amenities at all. This is a not a hotel!!! They need to work a lot harder on their Concept!!

Die App konnte nicht heruntergelanden werden und unter der Hotline hat sich stundenlang keiner gemeldet, so dass man mitten in der Nacht nicht in das Zimmer konnte. Wenn digital, dann aber so, dass es ausnahmslos funktioniert oder man zu 100% Erreichbarkeit hat. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Ein vorweg. Man braucht ein Smartphone... dies fungiert als digitaler Schlüssel für alle wichtigen Türen. Ohne geht es kaum. Wäre schön gewesen, hätte ich dies bei der Buchung für meine Mutter gewusst. Man erhält (oder sollte - hat bei mir nicht geklappt) einen Pin Code für die äußere Eingangstür und lockt sich dann im Hotel am Terminal selber ein. Darauf hin bekommt man ein Email mit dem digitalen Schlüssel der die weiteren Türen öffnet. Hat man dies einmal geschafft ist es echt einfach und bequem zu handhaben. Der Telefonservice war 1a. Direkt dran, hat top geholfen und das Problem gelöst. Das Zimmer war genau wie auf den Bildern. Sehr orderntlich, großzügig und sauber. Es roch leicht nach Abfluss, was bei Zimmern die man 1-2 Wochen nicht vermietet hatte schon mal passsieren kann. Wasserhähne kurz aufdrehen und lüften - alles super. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt, daher hier keine Bewertung dazu. Alles in allen ein sehr gutes Hotel was ich wieder buchen würde. Aber nicht für meine Mutter, die kein Smartphone hat...

Technische Probleme beim Check In wurden sofort telefonisch behoben, Servicepersonal ist erreichbar. Die Matratzen waren super, aber das Zimmer war sehr staubig, der Teppich schmuddelig.
