"The hotel is rather small (a very good thing for me!), but the room I had was large and the bathroom too. It was modern and very clean, with A/C. It was called Mallus and had a French door to the street which meant I had to have the blind down all the time for privacy, really the only drawback to it all. The breakfast is very good, fresh, and the manager very kind and dedicated. I highly recommend!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Dona Edite Guesthouse in the Douro Valley, located about 15 to 20 minutes from Pinhão. The room is modern, well decorated and we appreciated the his and her towels. The place is very quiet since we are up in the hills, away from the town. The continental breakfast in the morning is delicious. So, if you are looking for a place to stay in the Douro valley and relatively near Pinhao, we highly recommend Casa Dona Edite."

"The accommodation is very nice and the views are spectacular. Great pool and sauna. They need to tidy up around the rooms as there are lots of weeds in the pathways. Outside the cabins could do with paving or decking as it’s not great to sit out on the bare soil and rocks. The was a towel on the sun beds that was there for outlet entire stay and should have been taken away. Overall it’s a very nice place but the owners/staff need to make an effort to keep it looking pristine"
