"Enjoyed our stay at The Kings Arms, our room had everything we needed. Good food served for dinner and breakfast and for the price paid we thought this was excellent value for money. The only negative and why I didn’t put excellent for our stay was a door banging all night (our room was next to the entrance and door was kept open all night) so it disturbed my sleep otherwise a lovely stay and we will be back (and bonus of being dog friendly) 😃."

"If you need a reasonable priced hotel at Stansted airport this is ideal. Staff are excellent the common areas of the hotel are bright, very clean and welcoming. The rooms are good and the comfort of the bed was great."

"A great location if you're spending time in Colchester town center, visiting the castle and sampling the many wonderful pubs and restaurants in the area. The rooms were nice and roomy. They did tell us ahead of time that the room was on two floors (bed upstairs and lounge/study downstairs), a nice layout although a bit of a trip hazard if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and don't want to wake your partner. The staff were friendly and attentive."
