The employees here are wonderful, very nice and informative!
The room was a whole different story, unfortunately the room I was in had cockroaches, the last night there I woke up in the middle of the night to something crawling on my face. Sadly I am not exaggerating, when I woke up on my checkout day I had apparently squished a cockroach (in the bed) in my sleep.
Hair that was not mine was in the bed and in the shower, the toilet was not clean, makeup (likely waterproof mascara) was on the white towels provided in the bathroom. As a previous housekeeper & housekeeping inspector I look for a lot of things when I stay in hotels. The air filters in the a/c units must have been dirty because the smell was awful. Dogs are welcome here so expect barking at any hour, and also some urine smells.
I told the lady at the front desk when I checked out and she was mortified, especially since she was recently transferred from housekeeping to the front desk due to being short staffed. Hopefully the new management can get these things fixed and maybe retrain housekeeping staff.
Aside from my experience, the location itself is nice if you want to be close to touristy areas/shops. It's really close to the road (520) that takes you to Merritt Island and you are really only 15 minutes away (max) from most desired spots in the area.
