"This is a high end hotel with exceptional value; no detail has been overlooked. Simply put, they get everything right every time. The location is perfect in the historic pedestrian center! Our room (8) on the 4th floor was very quiet and beautiful with an amazing ceiling, comfortable king bed, excellent water pressure, bidet and garden access. The heat-A/C is completely silent!! "Our first trip to Porto and I have never been to such a beautiful hotel, we arrived and Franseca showed us our room which we absolutely loved, the room was cleaned every day of our stay and was spotless. Breakfast was amazing and we sat outside in the beautiful gardens overlooking the river,all the staff were very friendly especially the young man who we never got his name but he was fab at his job.Thank you all for a memorable stay !"

"Just spent 3 nights at this beautiful small hotel. Everything was perfect. Our room was spacious, light and spotlessly clean. The bed, pillows and bedding were all so comfortable, and there were some lovely touches, such as a minibar that was restocked everyday, free of charge. "Great location and all the staff was lovely and helpful. I would recommend apartment B2 as we had a fabulous view over river and breakfast was included which coffee was the star of the show. Down side was glass bathroom but not an issue for a couple but could cause privacy issues within the apartment for some guests. "

"Lovely boutique hotel overlooking the river. Ideally located for us to spend our time down on the waterfront or go up into the town, plenty to do and see around there. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had continental breakfast included in our stay which was great, plenty to choose from and you could order freshly scrambled eggs if that’s your preference. Definitely would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Stayed here for my girlfriend's birthday and the place was lovely, lots of lovely small touches to make the stay a special one. Our only gripe was the food and drink was rather expensive at the sky bar/wine bar, especially spirits compared to other places nearby but this very well could be paying for the view/location, we never eat in the restaurants so can't comment on these. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Porto"

"The Gran Cruz House is in the perfect location, right by the river and walkable to all local attractions and restaurants. We stayed in the White Room for one night and the Pink Room for four.
