"What a privilege it is to be able to stay in this beautiful home! It's very homely and the 30 second walk to the beach is such a luxury! The beach itself is such a beautiful natural expanse at low tide and a wonderful spot for swimming and waterfun at high tide. A 30 second potter back to a super warm shower was very appreciated! The main bedroom with the extra balcony area is wonderful to wake up to and the en suite shower is so spacious. The stairs up to the main bedroom are steep though so it's great there are two downstairs bedrooms too. Our dogs and ourselves really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again. Big thanks to the hosts!"

"Lovely unique setting, rooms were okay and in keeping with the setting. Main building was very quirky with lots of oldie worldie nooks and crannies. Spa was nice and outside pool was a bonus. Only downside was that both hot tubs were broken during the entirety of our stay and spa staff said it was always breaking down.... Tip for guests would be to try and eat in each area of restaurant as you get a different perspective in both, and also take time to sit in the many lounge areas. The seating areas outside looked lovely too, however the weather for us didn't allow sitting outside. But it did mean the walk along the beach blew the cobwebs away. I'd love the hotel to do regular "what's behind the door tour" as there were plenty inside the main building and external buildings it would have been great to see behind."

"This was our 2nd visit to Golden Eye this year and we couldn’t have asked for more. The accommodation was perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. Spotlessly clean and smelt amazing. Apart from clothes you really don’t need to take anything with you as Rob, the host, has thought of everything. He’s also the most informative and attentive host every visit which helps so much to navigate things. Thanks Rob, we’ll be back!!"

"We were late booking accommodation for Goodwood so didn’t have many options without needing to remortgage the house. We choose Marine Court for price and location. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as it’s actually a firefighters charity who rent their rooms out of a weekend, and is used for firefighters rehab during the week. The room we had was big, modern and spotlessly clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful and reception was manned 24/7. There is no bar at the weekend but that didn’t matter as it’s just a 5min walk to the seafront with a little stroll to the east beach cafe (which we highly recommend) and the beach bar & restaurant. Will definitely go back again as soon as convenient for Goodwood!"
