We got checked into our room when we arrived- the lady at the front desk was very nice. However, when we got to our room, and I went to pull the sheets back, they appeared to be covered in dog hair, like the sheets didnt get changed between guests. Major ew, but mistakes happen. I asked for a new room, because the sheets were not changed, and was given a different room without issue.
Yet again, the sheets had definitely not been changed. After the previous room, the first thing I did was check the bed, and near the foot of the bed, between the “clean sheets” were hairs, a few small grass clippings and like, miscellaneous grime I guess? The room also smelled like someone smoked in it, but that may not be the hotels fault- I know thats a difficult smell to remove. I mentioned that after two rooms like this, I may want to just move on to somewhere else, and before I could even ask I was told I wouldnt be getting any money back. A bit frustrating, but not an argument I was willing to have after a ten hour drive. I was offered a third room to try or fresh sheets right then and there- I opted for the sheets.
Like I said, the lady at the front desk was nice, but I feel like a refund should at least be considered when a guest is given two rooms with unchanged sheets…
Overall, not happy and definitely won’t be coming back here.
