"Wonderful stay - rooms were clean and inviting. Great views of the mouth of the river. There are indeed sea lions - didn’t mind their barking at all. Food in restaurant was great. Would stay again next time I’m in town. Definitely worth the cost."

"The staff was very friendly. Location was great. Room was exactly as described. I may have missed it, but the rooms don't have cold air conditioning. Has a radiator for heat, but it was an exceptionally hot summer day. Slept like a baby either way. Enjoyed my stay."

"We have wanted to stay in the historic area of Astoria for some time. So much to see and do and the wandering around was convenient from the Norblad. It was clean and the staff were great. The nightlife quieted down early but we enjoyed live music from the comfort of our room. They provided all the needed amenities in all its simplicity. The mattress on the bed however, was very, very soft - not sure it could use an update. Otherwise - it was a great adventure!"

"Everything was great except the maintenance was a little dated in the fixtures of the bathroom and the shower. We were in the peak season, so I assume the rate is as high as it gets, so that’s why I gave it less than 5 across the board. The breakfast could be a bit nicer (again, given the price). The staff were very cool about the bikes we had with us!"

"The shower in the pool area was not working when we were there. We told staff. The room was fabulous, the staff was super helpful and accommodating. Loved our room. Everything was clean and well kept. Definitely will be coming back again. The breakfasts were good. Really appricated the towels at the pool. That made things easier. Hot tub was great."
