"We stayed in the one bedroom executive unit in late March from Monday to Thursday in room 201. * Location is excellent, close to the train station and restaurants, easily walkable to blowhole and surf beach * Secure parking with keycard access, there are two levels and there was no shortage on weekdays * The suite itself was clean, but was more like an apartment with vinyl floors. It was comfortable but not stylish or luxurious. * Bed was reasonably comfortable * There were signs of wear and tear where maintenance could be improved - roller blinds in bedroom were flayed barely functional. Air conditioning units displaying filters needed cleaning. * Kitchenette was functional for making a cooked breakfast. Tea and coffee and long-life milk provided, but you'll need to BYO oil, salt, pepper etc. Note that the fridge does not have a freezer compartment - so there is no ice for cold drinks. * Strict 'No seafood policy'! There was a rather strict warning about getting charged $300 should any sign of seafood be detected in your room - including remnants or smells of seafood etc. Which seems a bit over the top and unfriendly for a coastal property. Taking the wording literally, you can't even have smoked salmon or canned tuna in your room! Overall, it was ok, but the no seafood policy puts us off and we probably won't stay again for that reason. A general warning about applying surcharges if not keeping the place clean and odour-free should suffice. "

"The motel was quiet. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The reception staff was helpful and friendly. I definately recommend this motel "

"The hotel location is excellent. Room is nice and clean but a little dated. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our time there."

"Beautiful apartment in a great location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and local attractions. But also just far enough away from the direct centre of town so that you could relax peacefully. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a charcuterie board watching the beach and park activity. "

"Outdoor lights can’t work. The light in the house upstairs is very dim, and there is a lamp that can't be used. The door and wardrobe door hinges of two rooms are loose. The hygiene is not good. There are many spiders and webs in the room."

"The property is a lovely spacious, modern, clean apartment BUT it was very dark as it has no direct sunlight, no view as it looks on to walls, it is next to to the train tracks which are in use all night long. They only provide one key despite four people staying in the apt. The host never sent me access instructions as I had a foreign mobile number so I had to chase them up. Finally, the apt building had no character at all. Not worth it!"

"Superficially clean inside but felt need to sweep floor on arrival. Balcony caked in sand - not swept for weeks? Wifi really poor. Broken dinning chair. 3 nite stay but 2 dishwasher tablets. Not unpleasant, but hardly luxury."
