"The owner of this hotel is clearly in the wrong job, arrogant, rude, condescending fulfilling the worst caricatures of hotel owners. This was clearly the French version of Basil Fawlty, who nearly pushed me to ask how many French commandos landed in 1944. An absolutely unwelcoming hotel to be avoided at all cost "

"Hotel is miles from Honfleur and on an industrial park. First room offered was on ground floor where window opened onto cars parked outside. So we asked to move. Next room had broken air con so once again we had to ask to move. Third room had broken door lock - we had to be given the key rather than card key. The toilet lid fell off whilst we were there. All three rooms looked basic and rather tired. One small shower towel per person provided. A picture on the walls would be a nice touch. Staff...

"We stayed in the beautiful property for three weeks over the summer. The highlight is the fantastic large enclosed garden - our 3 year old daughter and dog had a great time running around. The interior is small but comfortable with everything you could need. And the location is perfect for exploring Normandy - Beuzeville is a charming village and Honfleur is only 10 minutes away. "We rented this charming house for three weeks in July 2025, hosting family and friends aged 20 months to 95 years at different times. The property is well-situated in the countryside, just eight minutes from Honfleur. During our stay, we visited local attractions like Honfleur, Monet’s Garden, the D-Day beaches, and enjoyed the Velo-Rail at Etretat. Meals around the large patio table were a daily highlight.The house met our needs but essentially offers four bedrooms, with an extra bed on the upstairs landing. Both bedroom and kitchen storage are limited, though the kitchen is very well equipped."
