"Tucked away, this farmhouse is just superb! Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy and the shower was the most powerful I’ve ever enjoyed! Kirsty and Neil are good hosts, ready to offer recommendations if asked, but will leave you to yourselves if you prefer. They keep pigs and chickens, which we were lucky enough to feed, and I can report that the sausages, bacon & eggs at breakfast were very tasty! Added bonus of homemade cakes left out, delicious! Thanks Kirsty & Neil"

"This was an unscheduled stop on route to Cornwall due to bad weather. What a pleasant surprise, a beautiful old Inn a short distance from the A30. The staff were friendly and helpful, great service a lovely evening meal and an excellent breakfast. We will definitely be returning with hopefully better weather."

"The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here"

"Clean hotel, unfortunately the dining area is far too small when the hotel is busy. Although a dog friendly hotel, you are asked to sit in a specific area and if it's busy, you may have to wait an hour or so, or take breakfast in your room, despite tables being available and the food area being separate from the seating area. Overall not too bad price wise, by the time you add on parking and the pet. We stayed for 4 nights in the May holidays, worked out around £100/night. Staff were friendly...

"We had a lovely stay in the suite. Once the windows were closed it was super quiet and the bed was very comfy. The room clean and cosy. The hairdryer was broken tho'. The hotel is full of character and so I think its old style decor is part of its charm. Even so a more.modern feel to the bedrooms woulf be a good idea. The secret garden could be stunning and does has some lovely plants however it felt a tad grubby (sticky tables). Sraff amazing. "
