"La Piccola Locanda is not a hotel, they don’t have a front desk. The owner sends an email before check in date explaining this “Albergo diffuso accomodation concept” meaning they can place you anywhere, the check in time are only from 11:00 - 2:45 and 6 -11:00 pm. The owner left me the keys on top of a barell, the entrance to the building was like a storage, no elevator, I dragged my suitcase 5 stair flights, and I was alone in the whole building, very scary! I ended up staying somewhereelse!"

It is also a great central location to branch out and explore. We rented a car during our stay, but it is also close to the Chiusi train station for day trips. It was very difficult to leave, but we hope to return someday."
