Palazzo Dalla Rosa Prati

"I just want to start by saying that in all my years of staying in hotels and traveling, I have never been treated so kindly and had a staff be so immensely helpful. We were typical American tourists in Parma, just driving in from the redeye where we had had no sleep whatsoever. There was a misunderstanding on my part with the parking and we ended up parking in a garage. The next morning, we had no idea where we had parked. Vittoria, the kindest person ever, literally came to our rescue and found us in downtown and stayed with us until we found our car. Then he led us back to the hotel down alleys that we didn’t know existed where he had allowed us to leave our luggage. He then loaded it into the car and bid us a very friendly farewell. When we initially arrived, he gave us a warm welcome and his colleague, Meagan was super friendly and so accommodating as well. Our room ended up being a fully furnished two bedroom apartment with a huge living room, two gigantic bedrooms and a complete kitchen. Had we known how wonderful it was we would have definitely chosen to stay there more than one night. We absolutely will never forget his kindness and the way he went above and beyond anything that would have ever been expected. We hope to be able to return in the future. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I would give it 500 stars if I could. Grazie Mille Vittorio and all of the staff."

"Arrived and would have liked to upgrade our room, but it was a popular weekend for travellers. Fixed a broken TV really promptly and were very quick at sorting issues with the towels, couldn’t fault their responsiveness. Room was small, but well designed. Great prices for parking compared to others in the area. Altogether a really good stay."

"Great area to stay. Nice walk from train station. The checkin was at another hotel and we had to backtrack to checkin. Walkable safe area. We were near restaurants, coffee shops, live music, shopping and historical sites."

"We booked the Grand hotel Di Parma for a weekend getaway- the hotel is simply stunning, old world charm with impeccable service, discreet yet there when needed. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather so we spent some time on our terrace with coffee and pastries- the whole experience was just what we needed and we will be back."

"La sedia non era tanto comoda - troppo stretta. Tutti i tre alberghi italiani in cui sono stato questo viaggio saranno cosi', ma mi sono finalmente reso conto che, per avere potenza nella camera, si deve inserire la chiave nel "buco" elettronico nella parete. Allora, se si ha solamente una chiave, si deve rimanere nella stanza, svegliato, per ricaricare gli apparecchi. Quindi, domandi all'impiego due chiavi."
