"The rooms and lobby were clean and relatively well-maintained. We didn't have the opportunity to use the pool or gym, but we enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the staff did a nice job keeping everything clean and stocked. The hotel was a very short drive from the main road, which has plenty of of restaurants and retail areas. I would stay here again the next time I'm in the area."

"We booked a room as a layover on our way to western NC. To say we were blown away by this amazing property is an understatement. Each room is really a Smallwood furnished apartment complete with a full kitchen. Red brick walls and and timber beams, a comfortable living room, full well stocked kitchen and an extremely comfortable bedroom makes this our new go-to stopover. Next time we will stay a few nights and explore the Roanoke area more! Oh and there is a washer and dryer in the room! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and a dishwasher along with local coffee and a nice selection of tea and creamers. There is no or minimal staff on site on the weekends, access to the building and the rooms is granted via code you get when booking. The property is also stunning. We encourage everyone looking for a truly peaceful oasis to stay at the Lofts in Salem!!"
