I enjoyed the layout of the rooms and the pool was an additional bonus. It was close enough to Mackinaw City for the Labor Day Bridge Walk and the free breakfastwas great. Be aware that there is no elevator to the 2nd floor if you need one. Overall, I had a great stay.

Clean room, noisy beds, not extremely comfortable though, had everything we required though except an elevator of which my elderly father would have preferred.

For the Cheboygan area, this hotel ended up being a nice place to stay. The rooms were updated and very clean. The staff was friendly. It was a treat watching the fireworks out our back door as the river runs along the back of the hotel. We did not eat at the continental breakfast but it was fine for people on the go.

Other than no elevator (for handicap), a smoke detector alarm going off for not reason, and the small bathroom, the room was clean and acceptable.
