6/10
I missed the email about code to get in the door and once we got to the cabin which was 6 miles up the mountain on gravel road which took 30 minutes.. we had to go back down and call and find email. Property manager was very nice and helpful. After eating went back up the 6 miles/ 30 minute trip to finally get in and power was out. We managed to find a couple of oil lamps (none of them worked) and a citronella candle a 1 scented candle. Power finally came on about 7 o’clock the next night but needless to say it wasn’t a good start to our trip. Beds were comfortable, property has a well so no water when power was out. Saw a lot of wildlife which was nice but unless you truly want to ‘get away’ this may not be the spot for you. Not to mention on our first day my son stepped on a dead mouse that had maggots alll over it.. so it had been there a while in the middle of the main bathroom floor.
