"I stayed at this hotel 4yrs. ago & the improvements are amazing. Looks as though it has had a complete overhaul. Immaculate decorations & spotlessly clean & fresh. Our studio was so spacious with stunning views over the golf course. We ate breakfast outside on our spacious patio. Will definitely stay here again as location is perfect for so many beautiful parts of the Cotswolds."

"What was obviously a somewhat tired hotel in the not too distant past has had its rear and 'more modern' (compared to the original) accommodation thoroughly modernised to a very pleasingly high standard. The twin room we stayed in was comfortably spacious compared to other budget-medium price places we've stayed in, with all the amenities we needed and spotlessly clean. No noise at all with sounds from other guests above/below/or close by. Buffet breakfast (incl. cooked) was amazing - nothing wanting and good coffee. All the staff were amazingly helpful, nothing too much trouble and issues dealt with straight away. Windows can be opened a bit which we like for fresh air. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!"

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Wood Norton, the hotel was in a great location and the facilities were lovely. We had a king size bed which was fabulous and the shower was very spacious. The only criticism we had about the room was that it only had 2 lamps with no main light, so it was quite dark in the evening. Would definitely return for another visit."

"Lovely grounds and easy walk to the Castle . The room was built with bunks for kids, but as a couple we found if quite roomy. The breakfast buffet was good with fresh watermelon and pineapple a nice treat."

"The room was clean, the bedside light kept blowing but they worked hard to rectify it every time. I did get bitten a lot which has never happened to me before but the cause was a mystery because my husband did not get bitten at all. The roman blinds in the room let it down as did the net curtains which were hung the wrong way on the windows so the strings were an eyesore. The coffee and tea making facilities were excellent. The bathroom needed more shelving. The location was amazing and an excellent place to use as a base for sight seeing further afield. We spent 3 nights and 2 days there and could have stayed longer. They employ some amazing staff. Enormous credit to them ."
