"The hotel we stayed at has a very convenient location, especially for Amtrak travelers—it’s only about a 5-minute walk to Union Station, which we really loved. The station also serves as a stop for tour buses, which makes it very convenient for those who want to explore the city without much walking. The food court inside the station offers a good variety of options, and there are also a couple of nice restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab a stress-free dinner or breakfast. I especially liked that the hotel has more of a business-style atmosphere, which keeps it quiet both during the day and at night. The on-site restaurant serves a very good breakfast (the only meal I tried there), and the staff were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. The lobby is spacious, and the gym is above average—I checked it out on the first night, though after several days of walking back and forth to museums, I felt like I got plenty of exercise already! Our room was large, clean, and felt quite new. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The only downside was the view. Our room faced a nearby office building on a side street, and the windows were close enough that people could see into our room—and we could clearly see them working or walking around. "Very Disappointing and Not Worth the Price I stayed at Hamilton Washington DC and was extremely disappointed. The entire hotel is old and outdated — the rooms, the furniture, the bathroom — everything looks worn out and in need of serious renovation. The photos on the booking website showed a completely different picture: modern, clean, and well‑maintained rooms. In reality, nothing matched those images. When we raised our concerns at the front desk, we were told: “What do you expect for this price?” — even though the price was far from low. I consider this pure deception. Showing attractive photos online and then providing old, poorly maintained rooms is simply unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel. For the same amount of money, you can find much better options in Washington, DC."

"I have been to many hotels but this one has a very unique style that i enjoyed. I would recommend it especially in the area that it is in."

"This is an older hotel, but it is clean and well kept. The location is about 2 blocks for NOMA metro stop and about 1 mile walk to Union Station, which makes us super convenient to see the DC sights. Wish there were more food options within close by, but there are options 4+ blocks surrounding. There is a great pizza place across the street and Mcdonald's on the corner! The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a perk, it was fresh and hot and there was plenty of food offered for the entire breakfast hours. There were scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage, and pancakes, french toast and waffles would alternate days, plus the traditional continental offerings. "
