The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room for the entire stay, which was inconvenient. One of the main reasons we booked this property was to use the saunas, but unfortunately they never got hot enough to really enjoy. That took away from what we were expecting from the experience. "Tinha cá estado no inverno e gostei tanto que quis regressar com bom tempo. Expectativas plenamente cumpridas, seis anos depois. O hotel é óptimo, tem um jardim e piscinas incríveis. Come-se muito bem no restaurante e o espaço é muito agradável. Bom gosto discreto, sem espalhafato. Funcionários prestáveis e cordiais. Tenciono regressar."

"Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was very well served. Very good for traveling as a couple! The only downsides were the lack of pool towels and the external lights and noise, especially from the automatic air conditioning at night."

"The setting is stunning, the staff are so kind and helpful, the property is clean and well-maintained. It was so nice I stayed another night. Absolutely worth the stay!"

"This place was unique, palacial amount of public spaces, historic, great amenities and very helpful staff. We throughly enjoyed our stay"

"Excellent service from all of the staff. Clean and well appointed room. Balcony with fantastic views. Excellent, quiet, peaceful, beautiful location. Nice outdoor pool, deck and loungers with great views in all directions. Very good restaurant for breakfast; fantastic evening meal. Well-stocked bar."

"Charming hotel in the heart of the old town. Fernanda was so kind and welcoming upon our arrival after we’d had a stressful day. Breakfast could be improved upon, the omelette was average. Room was comfortable for our 1 night stay."
