" Close to arena for ASU graduation. Two graduated on the same day but different ceremonies. Walked over for first. Returned to hotel for lunch. Walked over for second. Never had to get in my car and fight traffic or long lines for lunch. Stayed three nights and enjoyed the grandchildren’s graduations. A mini stay-cation!"

"I honestly hate leaving poor reviews, but I don't believe I have ever stayed somewhere quite this bad. The pool smelled terrible, and we ended up not using it. The room was disgusting, the bedspread had very interesting stains, and the mattress cover had huge brown stains all over it. The sheets themselves were clean. Bother the desk chair and the "comfy" chair were also extremely dirty. The towels were stained. The door was missing half of the safety lock, and I had to pick up the entire door to get the regular lock to latch. When I arrived to check in, there was nobody at the desk for at least 15 minutes. The person working there knocked on my door before check-out time, asking if I was leaving, and she also approached my niece, who was carrying luggage to my car, several times, demanding to know her room number. Overall, it was not a good experience. "

"Breakfast was not that great. I asked for a receipt and they wouldn't give me one. Fan in the bathroom runs all the time. But everything was very clean."

"The manager and person checking us in lack kindness. The hotel is beautiful and the person who creates the breakfast buffet was lovely. Maybe talk to those at the front desk about treating their guests like guests! "

"The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was clean but had an off smell and a few sticky spots on the carpet. But nothing we couldn't handle. The breakfast was good too. Unfortunately the pool was down and that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. It didn't say anything on the site when we booked about the pool being down. That would have been super helpful. But overall a good stay."

"Great hospitality and very accommodating with a few nice extra touches making for a very enjoyable stay. Owners provided great communication and were quick to respond. Good location with easy access to A-State.Highly recommend as a great place to stay in the Jonesboro area."

"We stayed at The Ark in Jonesboro while traveling in for a funeral, and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When we arrived, they had already given our reserved room to someone else. From there, things only got worse. They first tried moving us to a room where the door lock didn’t work, the room smelled horrible, and everything looked dirty and stained. They then attempted two additional rooms, both of which also had issues. One had another broken door lock, and another had no working lights at all. Eventually, we were moved to a room on the third floor, despite there being no elevator and my elderly mother traveling with us. The room itself felt unsafe and poorly maintained. The smoke detectors had been disconnected, the electrical outlets were so loose and damaged we were afraid to plug anything in, and there was even a hole in the bathroom wall. There were also no trash cans in the room. When we asked for washcloths, they said they had none. When we requested an iron, they handed us one attached to a giant base like it belonged in a museum exhibit called Hotels of Regret. To make matters worse, there was water leaking from the ceiling outside one of the rooms into a trash can in the hallway, and staff members were openly complaining to guests about management. The billing situation was the final straw. The hotel successfully charged our card, the payment had fully gone through on our account, and they still repeatedly attempted to charge us"

"Rooms were very clean and fresh, beds were comfortable and it was a great location. I had booked several rooms for family to stay in for graduation and ended up with one too many and both Expedia and Amanda at the Hampton were very helpful in canceling the one room and ensuring that I still had the others to use. Everyone from check-in to breakfast staff to check-out were very friendly, courteous and helpful. And, believe me we were a handful!"
