Nice small ac room. Bathroom right next door. Bit of a steep hill to walk up but that is St Lucia. Nice breakfast available and reception were only a ring of the bell away.

The communal space, the balcony, was a great asset and has a very pretty view. An 8 min walk from the ferry. The mattress was not up to our standards. Would recommend for a short overlay.

I chose this place because of the convenience to be able to walk to the ferry. I did walk to the ferry and it was a four minute walk that was very good. I can see the white residence from where I am standing at the ferry. And while I am at the residence, I can also see the ferry. All I have to do is print it out. It is easy to go there all you have to do from the main street in front of the house you walked and it leads you right to the ferry. That is so fine. Another thing that I love about the place is the fact that the gentleman who is the manager was respectful. The third most important part that I love about the place is that he held my suitcases for me for 24 hours plus I truly appreciate that. My suitcase was very heavy and the bag as well. it had important stuff, but everything were still present. I truly appreciate that he did me that favor which she did not have to. Again, Mr. James thank you so very much.

Perfect for overnight-before/after ferry ride

James and his staff were super attentive with good communication skills after we arrived on a very late night ferry from Martinique. We arrived at nearly 3am, yet he was there to make sure we settled in. Prior to arrival he arranged a cab for the short ride from the Inter-Island Ferry Terminal ($16 for 2 people...recommended, despite the short distance). Whether it is in your best interests to take the ferry, is another thing (lengthy check in times, 200-400 people clearly customs with 1 border officer). Breakfast was solid and cooked to order (toast, bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, instant coffee) while out on the veranda overlooking Castries; it was unclear whether the $12-14 breakfast (per person) was included in our rate, but we were out of there for ~$103. No frills, but clean, comfortable, and cheery. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner & hairdryer, but the fridge and AC worked great. Kettle in the room with coffee, tea, and sugar. We went with the en suite bathroom and felt like everything was clean and comfortable. Roku TV, internet, and very comfortable for a good night sleep after a lengthy journey. James went out of his way to make things easy and was happy to arrange cabs for onward travel. Definitely worth it!

Castries stay for ferry access

This property was used as a convenient location to take the early morning ferry to Martinique. It is a 5 to 7 minute walk to the ferry. There were 4 more couples staying there for the same reason. The place was clean. The A/C works for the bedroom only and all doors and windows must be closed for the A/C to operate. The shower was acceptable. Works for the price.

James us good host. Excellent location for ferry but up steep hill and some dodgy characters in houses at bottom of hill. Hotel us faurly basic but clean and has all you need as base to explore from as buses diwntown only 25 min walk.

We arrived on a late ferry, so the convenience of the location is perfect... Although I wouldn't walk to the place at night as you have to walk through a not very nice neighborhood. During the day it's ok. The owner was very helpful, room was comfortable with ac and good wifi. They offer breakfast for usd 10 if you want. Close to town and the market.

Do not expect much

The rooms are not as nice as they appear in the pictures on Hotels.com. My room was very dusty, and the A/C filters were covered in dust. The water in the bathroom flowed very slowly, and the shower faucet was in poor condition. The bed was uncomfortable and did not appear to have been properly cleaned. The breakfast was ok the owner makes the breakfast every morning for the quest.

James makes one feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The hotel is conveniently close to the ferry terminal. It is clean, has hot water. Beds are comfortable. James will provide breakfast and/or his famous BLT for dinner for a price. Restaurants in town are mostly closed by 6p. There is adequate flat parking although the driveway is steep. There is 2 flights of stairs.

I needed a place to stay near the ferry, this did the trick for that. Otherwise this was a pretty crappy spot. Tough to get to for the taxis and once there I was asked to pay in full even though I have already paid half through Expedia. No food in the area and a pretty rough place in general.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour sa proximité avec le ferry mais l’environnement est anxiogène. Le propriétaire n’est pas sur place et il n’y a aucune possibilité de se restaurer notamment pour le petit déjeuner. Je dois dire quand même que l’accueil s’est bien passé alors que nous sommes arrivés à 11h

Agréable surprise

Séjour éclair pour accompagner notre fils qui devait se rendre à l'étranger en passant par Ste-Lucie. A ma grande surprise nous avons été très bien pris en charge... depuis le chauffeur de taxi qui nous a attendu au terminal ferry jusqu'à 2h du matin. En passant par le propriétaire qui nous a reçu à 2h15 et très bien installés. Ces 2 personnes ont rendu notre séjour agréable et nous ont grandement facilité la vie. Je recommande vivement! Ma famille et moi reviendront d'ici le mois prochain...

The road leading to the Inn looked like the road to an abandoned house or the road to a dumping ground There was no ac and no hot water. Kitchen was limited and the door was falling off the fridge. Very disappointed.
