"What a lovely find in Pembroke! John is a fantastic host with plenty of interesting stories, and the property has a wonderful family history that adds to its charm. He's thoughtfully modernised it to meet guests' needs, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. "The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Unfortunately we went during a heat wave, and the old building is not well equipped for the heat (neither is our own home; not the hotel’s fault). When we asked for fans for our room the staff provided them - the only thing I’d change is having them readily available instead of having to ask. The fans did not provide much relief but they got us through the very warm night. The staff were friendly and helpful."
