The place is gorgeous and very serene. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It's very small so you feel like you're the only people here, which is nice. There are only specific times for check in so make sure you know that ahead of time. We had trouble checking in because our reservation was not in the Collelungo system. But I'm not sure if that was Expedia or the hotel. All worked out and we loved our stay. Highly recommend.

The Collelungo is several sized apartments in one farm house . The room we had was clean and well maintained. The pool area was nice but small but I was ok with this as we were the only people at the pool. Castellina in Chianti is about a 10 minute drive but a must see little town. David on the Rock🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Perfect location and views room for improvement

The location was perfect for what we wanted and the views were beautiful however the accommodation itself was very basic. Our appartment had a full kitchen but with no basic provisions so you have to shop for everthing before you arrive. There was also a very strong smell of air freshner which we had to remove on arrival and open all the windows.

Fantastic Hotel in Chianti

ColleLungo ia a phenomenal place for a multi-night stay in Chianti. Its central location is a great gateway to several interesting cities and villages in the area. The setting is storybook and so clean and refreshing. There are no immediate neighbors so it is totally tranquil, and the peaceful feeling you get from being in the vineyards is so restful. There are so many different places to relax outdoors and a great library/bar building to eat and drink. The rooms (apartments) are great. No issues with size, heat, water temperature or cleanliness/comfort. The breakfast room is comfortable and the breakfast is satisfying. Fabiola is a great host and will help you with anything you need. After being with ColleLungo for 26 years, I don't think there is anything she doesn't know or can't accomplish for you. Highly recommended.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. They helped us book a private wine tasting that was amazing. The Breakfast was 10 euros per person optional and a wonderful buffet. Everything was very clean and our apartment was beautiful with a private outdoor area, fire place with wood provided. Parking was limited but free. We loved out stay.

Collelungo is a beautiful hidden gem. The apartments have all you need, the gardens are gorgeous as the surrounding area. Make sure to bring some food as you’ll need to drive to find the restaurants and shops (15 mins drive). As a suggestion, the hotel could offer coffee and tea in the apartments.

We hebben hier een heerlijk verblijf gehad in het Grand Appartement 'Panther: lekker ruim met 2 slaapkamers en zelfs 2 badkamers. Een heerlijk terras met prachtig uitzicht. Enige twee min-puntjes zijn dat er geen airco is (wel een goede ventilator) en het matras van het 2 persoonsbed in de grotere slaapkamer is aan vervanging toe, de ijzeren veringen waren (zachtjes gezegd) niet prettig in het lijf met slapen.

Pésimo. No me podían cobrar y no me dejaban ir. 2 horas esperando . Quería pagar en dólares porque ellos no podían cobrar con tarjeta y tampoco me dejaban pagar. Me hicieron pasar un muy mal momento.

Collelungo was the best part of our trip to Italy. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday away from the crowds, this should be your choice. On a secluded hill with wineyard views, this place is amazing! The owner showed great hospitality and we felt like home. Our only regret is not booking more than 2 nights in this beautiful place!

Surbooking et dédommagement minimum

Je ne peux pas évaluer cet hôtel qui avait fait du surbooking et qui m’a finalement hébergé avec ma famille au Casafrassi dans une chambre de qualité très inférieure à celle réservée au Collelungo sur hotels.com. Apres de tres nombreux appels téléphoniques et beaucoup de contrariétés qui ont gâché une grande partie de la soirée j’ai obtenu de la part du Collelungo un dédommagement de 60€ que je considère un minimum mais qui ne compense pas les inconvénients que j’ai subis car il m’avait d’abord été promis un remboursement intégral. Je garde donc un mauvais souvenir en général de cette expérience tant en ce qui concerne le Collelungo que pour ce qui est de hôtels.com

Beautiful & very peaceful place

Beautiful area! Clean, comfortable, and spacious! For the restaurants, and supermarket , is 10 minutes drive away in town. You better get ready with your food shopping before arrival if you would like to have and make your own breakfast/dinner, otherwise you can have very a light (continental) breakfast 10 euro for person . It is nice to go around the town itself to shop for food, or eat in the restaurant

Lovely atmoshere

Enjoyed our stay at Collelungo (third visit over 18 years) as much as the first time. It was very quiet when we visited and at times had the pool all to ourselves, sheer luxury! Great place to unwind and great location for exploring Tuscany

Ett fantastiskt boende mitt ute på landet. En vingård där du bodde i små lägenheter. Eftersom vi endast bodde en natt, beställde vi frukost som var lite dyr i förhållande till vad vi fick. Fabiola som skötte om servicen var fantastisk.

Splendida location, ampiamente consigliato!

Abbiamo fatto un viaggio nella regione del Chianti, visitando anche le città di Volterra, San Gimignano e Siena. La collocazione dell'hotel si è rilevata un'ottimo punto strategico per poter raggiungere tutte le destinazioni da noi scelte per il viaggio. La camera, composta da soggiorno e cucina, camera da letto e servizi era confortevole e molto pulita, la location è immersa nel verde delle vigne e nel silenzio, la proprietaria è stata molto gentile e disponibile.

Great views from hotel room and good service. It is located towards the top of the cliff, so if you're coming from the water by ferry and have luggage, make sure you get someone to help you with baggage - it's a lot of stairs.
