Très bon accueil par Lilia. Nous sommes arrivés la nuit (notre vol avait du retard).

Très bien équipé avec AC dans la chambre. Petite terrace pour le petit déjeuner. Jardin avec beaucoup de plantes succulentes: aloe Vera etc. Nous avons apprécié la plage près de Scopello et la réserve naturelle du Zingaro.

Hideaway with history, hiking, and a great host.

We loved our stay. We felt like we were in a magic garden with mountains, sea, beautiful wilderness and significant historical sites within easy driving distance. Our host gave very good directions with significant landmarks.... When you get close to arrival turn off your nav system and follow the directions... Sometimes the best places aren't the easiest to find, but worth that last bit of concentration to get there. We used the location to day trip... Trapani. Erice, Segesta and local towns all worth a look plus beach and zingara Nation park and Palermo. The location was well equipped and a beautiful spot to crash after a busy day! Magical setting for an extended stay.

Clean and comfortable, lovely host

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, quiet location.. Host upstairs extremely friendly, left us a bit of breakfast and some fresh fruit, and accommodated a late arrival. Small outside area with a view of dense bushes only. Quiet location, only sound being fierce sounding dogs which we thankfully didn’t encounter, no noise from hosts upstairs. Shower was small. Sofa is next to the kitchen table. Kitchen equipment ok, no oven. Had a kettle but no teapot or cafetière. Had to ask host for a lighter for the hob. Had decent sharp knives but no wine glasses. Good base for western Sicily and not far from Palermo airport. Hard to find but photos from the owner of gate entrances were really useful. Would stay again!

Beautiful, relaxing stay

The accommodation was lovely and great to return to after trips out. It’s set high up a drive and not the easiest to find. Look for a gate covered with bougainvillea which leads to quite a rough track at the top. We had difficulty on our arrival but Lilia couldn’t have been more helpful even coming to meet us. There was homemade pastries waiting and during the week freshly picked apricots were left on the patio. She was so friendly but equally left us in privacy. There if needed. We ate in and visited restaurants in Castellammare. Breakfast on the terrace was a joy. The area is beautiful and we went off exploring every day . Erice was stunning and the temples at Segesta, Selinunte and Agrigento are a must. All in all an excellent week. An added bonus was the cat and kittens who waited for us to get up and then joined us for breakfast. They are so adorable. Thank you Lilia for all your care.

Schön Wohnung, aber kein Ausblick!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sauber und hübsch eingerichtet, die Gastgeber freundlich und nett. Leider stimmten die Adressangaben nicht, sodass wir doch ziemlich herumsuchen und zum Schluss die Gastgeber anrufen mussten. Die richtige Adresse wurde uns dann gesagt, und es wäre auch ganz leicht, eine kurze Beschreibung zu geben. Es ist mir unverständlich, warum das nicht gemacht wird. Enttäuschend war für mich, dass zu der Wohnung nur eine sehr kleine Terrasse gehört, die völlig zugewachsen ist und von der man keinen Ausblick in die Umgebung hat. Das schöne Foto, das weite Felder, Hügel und Meer zeigt ist irreführend: man sieht das nicht von der Wohnung, sondern nur von der Straße. Insgesamt für zwei Nächte kein Problem, aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt bräuchte ich auch mehr Außenraum und Weite.

Ruhig gelegen, mit großartigem Ausblick

Wir hatten 9 wunderschöne Tage im Oktober. Wir wurden von unseren Gastgebern sehr herzlich und freundlich, mit einem Presentkörbchen, empfangen. Das Grundstück ist am Hang gelegen und wird liebevoll gepflegt. In der Wohnung war alles was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigten. Ein gelungener Urlaub bei tollen Gastgebern.

Superbe séjour ! Un petit paradis.

Un havre de paix et de beauté ! Idéal pour les amoureux de la nature. Grand domaine rassemblant une végétation méditerranéenne superbe tant en fleurs qu'en arbres fruitiers. Très bien situé sur un coteau avec vue sur mer et entouré de montagnes. Appartement : excellent pour la propreté et recherche dans la déco, très bonne literie. Félicitations ! Belle situation, car proche du centre ville, de la grande plage de "Alcamo Marina " ( 10 mn en voiture.) Les propriétaires très discrets, mais combien attentionnés pour satisfaire leurs hôtes, créent une ambiance de sécurité, et de convivialité. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir et des relations amicales.

Holiday home in a green and quiet place

We had difficulty to find the place, and then it's not difficult once you've found it. Entrance is very close to the church of Saint Francis. The house is very nicely decorated. Has all you need, beautiful garden, plants and surroundings. For those who like to come home and relax after day trips. Hiking and swimming in parco dello Zingaro is beautiful, We loved Erice, the beach in Castellamare.

Génial !

Dans un très beau cadre, adossée à la montagne, une très jolie maison dont nous avons occupé le rez-de-chaussé. Petite terrasse pour manger à l'ombre sous les pins. La mer visible au loin. Un grand merci à Lilia et à son mari pour leur accueil souriant et leur gentillesse que nous n'oublierons pas !

Calm, Quiet, Peaceful

6602744 is minutes away from Castellammare del golfo, and the difference in atmosphere can't be exaggerated. Castellammare del golfo is very touristic with lively activity late into the night. 6602744 is the definition of peace, quiet, and restful calm. Our hosts were wonderful. Everything you need right at hand. The bed is really comfortable. The AC unit does what you need it to do. The patio is perfect for a quiet expresso, drink, or a meal. During our two-week visit, we cooked in half a dozen times; the kitchen work space is great. Glad we discovered this lovely spot.

DELIZIOSO ALLOGGIO IMMERSO NEL VERDE

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in 2 persone nel graziosissimo appartamento Bouganville della famiglia Giannuzzi. La villa è immersa nel verde della proprietà, molto ben tenuta, con molte piante di olivo, agrumi e vegetazione mediterranea. Fiori e piante di agave ovunque. Un panorama bellissimo sul golfo di Castellamare del Golfo, a pochi minuti dal Parco dello Zingaro con deliziose calette dove abbiamo potuto fare il bagno nonostante il mese di ottobre. La cordialità di Lilia e Donato sono il valore aggiunto di questa ottima sistemazione. Grazie da Giulia e Gianni

Très bel emplacement

Nous avons séjourné du 7au 12 octobre 2017 nous avons été très bien accueilli. L appartement est d une propreté irréprochable elle est entourée d oliviers avec une vue sur la baie de castellammare del golfo idéalement situé pour visiter les sites aux alentours superbe séjour! Catherine dorlot

Goed appartement met een prachtige ligging

Het appartement is mooi ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is met de auto goed bereikbaar en ligt heel mooi tegen een helling. We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen en er stonden voor ons een mandje met brioches en eigengemaakte jam en een tweede mandje met heerlijk fruit klaar. Toen bleek dat we nog niet bij het juiste adres waren, kwam de verhuurster ons ophalen. De Tom-Tom wees ons namelijk niet goed. Naast het adres is een goede routebeschrijving wel nodig.

Rustic flat in an idyllic setting amongst the foothills

This is a lovely little flat in an idyllic setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. It is set in the foothills near Castellammare and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. It is the perfect retreat, when you crave peace and quiet. The flat contains everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owners live near by and are easy to contact if you require anything. We were welcomed with a delicious basket of local goodies, which was greatly enjoyed. We would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay here again ourselves.

Excellent endroit pour de retrouver hors du quotidien

Nous avons passé en couple un merveilleux séjour dans un endroit magnifique. Les propriétaires sont vraiment très sympathiques et accueillant. L’appartement est niché dans un magnifique jardin ombragé. La vue de la terrasse est très agréable et le calme qu’il y règne est reposant. L’ensemble comprend tout le nécessaire pour y passer un excellent séjour. On a eu l’impression d’être ailleurs, hors du temps pendant quelques jours avec l’impression de n’être que nous deux. Il se situe à quelques minutes en voiture de Castellammare del Golfo. La propriétaire nous a toujours répondu rapidement et clairement à toutes nos demandes de renseignement. Un tout grand merci Maria
