"What a beautiful hotel! It was recommended to my husband and I through mutual friends. It did not disappoint. We didn't use the spa facilities this time, but plan to next time. The room was beautiful and spacious. The shower was incredible! The food at the restaurant was delicious as well. Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff."

"The staff was lovely. We experienced a few issues with heating and lighting in our rooms, but the staff addressed the issues and made sure we were comfortable. The hotel was beautiful with beach access. The food was great, and the seating areas around the hotel were very cozy."

"A very pleasant hotel. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The pool, sauna and steam room were a great bonus and actually worked really well. There weren’t many people using them, so it was nice and relaxing. Dinner was reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily come back."

"Lovely home which is spotlessly clean and has lots of character. Enjoyed chilling on the deck . Good parking and couple of minutes walk to a garage for bits and bobs. Was left some nice breakfast supplies which was lovely. Thankyou"
DOONALTON HOUSE, family friendly in Dromore West, County Sligo

"My husband, our son and his girlfriend, and our son's best friend went to Ireland to celebrate our son's 26 birthday. The Doonaltan House was a perfect location for a secluded home base. We had breakfast with the cows from the neighboring pasture and and had a lovely tree lined lane to walk to the beach. The house is just beautiful and has all of the conveniences you could want (except a clothes dryer, which we leaned that very few people in Europe have--surprising given the amount of rainy days compared to sunny Arizona!). The Doonaltan House's bright and cheery interior has superb views of the ocean and nearby mountains (along with our bovine friends!). We will definitely be going back!"
