A clean, safe, well run bargain motel. I stay here often. If you’re paying over $300 a night, you will be disappointed, but for $160 or less, you’ll be fine. They have a fridge and microwave but no elevator.

Make no mistake, this motel is a former Motel 6. Room layout and amenities are in line with the other Motel 6's I have stayed in. However, the rooms have been redone. Everything was clean and nice! Note: this property is freeway close, so request a room on the backside as I did and noise won't be a problem.

Amazing staff, the rooms are spotless, and the property is very clean and uncomfortable. There’s no cigarette but no homeless people in the parking lot. It’s the cheapest motel south of Santa Barbara and it is far better quality than Ventura or Santa Barbara hotels for half the price. Just be sure to book before the weekend cause they sell out and you’ll end up with a room along the highway if it’s last minute.

It was fine for an overnight stay. Friendly staff. Reasonably close to Santa Barbara without the Santa Barbara price tag. Room was clean but small. Bed was pretty spartan. One nightstand and plug for two people. Tiny shower.

Staff was friendly and gave good advice on where the locals go , good places to eat and beach near by . However I would’ve like to have a microwave in the room since it is a small town and not a lot of late night places open or nearby to eat .
