The location is great, but that is literally the only positive thing to day about this place.
I could immediately tell what my experience would be like upon checking in. I originally booked the hotel for a single night. I appreciate that they list the amount of the deposit when booking the room because a lot of times places seem to surprise you with it. Because I saw this, I was prepared to pay it and had called ahead of arrival to see if they accepted cash or credit for this. He said either one, so I withdrew $100 cash to ensure that I would receive it back quickly upon checking out. Checking in was a very simple and quick process, however, the manager had seen me when I pulled up and proceeded to collect additional money from me for a “pet fee”. He must have seen the dog in my car and assumed that it was my pet. I informed him that I don’t have any pets and it’s actually a service dog. We then argued for quite a few minutes about the fact that he still wanted me to pay an additional fee, even though according to ADA laws, he’s not allowed to collect any additional fees from me in that situation. At some point, I got him to explain what
-Absolutely no effort has been made at this property to soundproof any room, whatsoever. In my room, I could hear the nearest neighbor inside of his room having a casual conversation at normal volume. This was the entire night, as if he were inside the bathroom having a chat with someone just on the other side of the door from where I was.
