Room noisy. No food. Breakfast chef did not turn up.

Pros - good parking, tea/coffee facilities, nice beds, tv and good wifi.
Cons - old fashioned creaky floorboards - all over room, traffic noise from main road outside, tiny but functioning shower, no take away food allowed in room and no air con for those unusual hot welsh nights 😅

Room for improvement
Ought to have plenty going for it - but although the pub itself is OK and lunch was good, not having a chef at the advertised time for breakfast was a bad let down. The room was tiny (don't take a cat) with no window as such, just a skylight and the walls wafer thin so you hear everything from next door. Everything. Not just conversation.
Stayed here before and really like the feel of the place and it’s location. Rooms are a little noisy for light sleepers like me but on the whole it’s quite a good place to stay. I’ll be staying again.
Beautiful little place. Excellent and friendly staff. Great food.

The Hotel had a nice period feel about it. I only had a single room but it was an adequate size and the bed was comfortable, although the bathroom was a little small and difficult to manoeuvre around for a tall person. One negative is that the Hotel is located on a busy main road so rooms are noisy (ear plugs a must for light sleepers). Can’t comment on catering as the restaurant was closed due to decorating. Overall it’s nice place, with free parking.
Staff were amazing and friendly. They couldn’t do enough for us. Ellis the assistant manager was really helpful.
The breakfast was huge and very tasty. Hope to return soon. would highly recommend.
