For a budget stay in Cardiff this is perfect. An uber to and from town is around £6-8 depending on the time of day. Easy to access the room, youre given a code on the day of your stay. Friendly welcome from lady at the bar who showed me where to go and told me about local food options. I stayed in room B. Very clean, shower seemed brand new and spotless. Not the most powerful but a good consistent temperature. Good flush on loo (important to know these things!). Bed was comfy. Fulll size kettle, hairdryer and couple of coat hangers provided. Very quiet area, couldnt hear too much noise from other guests although the very squeaky floorboards above woke me a couple times. Should be ok if you wear earplugs. Otherwise a good night sleep. Super friendly staff and a very cute friendly cat greeted me the next morning, though I didnt try the breakfast I enjoyed a coffee whilst waiting for my taxi. As a lone traveller, in Cardiff for work and a teeny but of sightseeing, I didnt need anything more so i was very happy with the Crofts and would choose to stay again.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. We found parking right out the front and stayed there overnight with no issues. The room was lovely and clean with a nice bathroom and comfy beds. The staff who showed us to our room was very kind and helpful and it was easy to come and go from the hotel with a unique access code. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Room was clean spotless and great location..... Very minor quibble which if changed can make all the difference. The bedside cabinet also features at the kettle and tea coffee facilities... Leaving no room to put your phone or bits on.... Also to fill the kettle the tap is too short meaning you can only put in a small amount till it spills all over the floor soaking socks....small quibble but otherwise great location and clean and tidy with helpful friendly staff
